As a seasoned gamer and die-hard fan of the Dragon Age franchise, I can’t help but feel like a kid on Christmas morning with Bioware’s latest announcement! After what feels like an eternity since the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any news about the next installment, and today’s leak has only fueled my excitement.
Yesterday, Bioware announced they would unveil the release date of Dragon Age: The Veilguard today, via a fresh trailer set for 12 p.m EDT. However, it seems someone leaked the news early, as waking up in the UK this morning, I stumbled upon the new trailer being shared. You can watch it yourself using the linked tweet below.
As a long-time fan of the Dragon Age series, I’m intrigued by the latest trailer that’s been circulating online. It seems like Bioware is keeping us guessing with their release date reveal strategy, and it’s not uncommon for them to reuse footage from previous trailers. However, as someone who has followed the game closely since its inception, I can’t help but feel a bit skeptical until we get official confirmation from Bioware themselves. The community is buzzing with excitement, but I’ll reserve my judgement until we hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. Today, they are hosting an official stream, so hopefully we’ll have some answers soon!
What time is the Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date announced and where can I see it?
Today, August 15th, marks the live debut of the official trailer for “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” at 9 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), 12 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), and 5 p.m. British Summer Time (BST). This new trailer will likely be a full-length one, unlike the brief leak we’ve seen so far, which seems to be more of a promotional ad for TV. “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” is the first installment in the Dragon Age series in a decade, following “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” Additionally, Bioware has hinted at further reveals in the lead-up to the launch, such as a sneak peek at advanced warrior combat, a week dedicated to Companions, and a Developer Q&A on Discord.
