As I delve deeper into the lives of these Love Island alumni, it strikes me how much their relationships mirror the rollercoaster ride we all embark upon when we watch the show. From heartwarming connections to heart-rending splits, each tale is a testament to the trials and triumphs of love.
Just a few weeks have passed since the Islanders bid their farewells to the villa, marking the conclusion of Love Island 2024. Now, we’re all back in the real world, navigating life post-villa! (As a movie buff, I can’t help but feel like this is the end credits scene of our very own reality show.)
Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan emerged victorious in the competition, succeeding Molly Smith and Tom Clare, who previously won the All Stars season this year.
Over the past two months, viewers have witnessed Islanders trying to strengthen their bonds with each other in an attempt to find true love, and this season’s finalists have indeed managed to do so!
On Love Island, it’s well-known that the true test for their growing relationships comes from facing the realities of the real world. Will they keep getting attracted to others, or will their love continue to grow even after the cameras stop recording? The outcome could swing in either direction.
More recently, Millie and Liam, who won in season 7, have reconnected following a short separation. Meanwhile, it’s been surprising to hear that Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, stars from season 5, have parted ways after being together for five years.
So where are all the Love Island couples right now? Here’s what you need to know.
Last updated: 15th August 2024
Love Island: 2024 (summer)
Josh Oyinsan and Mimii Ngulube – STILL TOGETHER
In a groundbreaking moment for the show’s history, Josh and Mimii became the first Black pair to win Love Island, delighting fans, and it’s heartening to learn that their relationship continues to flourish post-show.
In the villa, although they didn’t formally label their relationship, Josh confided in Heat that he plans to propose to Mimii as boyfriend and girlfriend when the right opportunity arises, without feeling pressured to hasten things for now.
Jess Spencer and Ayo Odukoya – STILL TOGETHER
As a movie buff, I’d put it this way: When Jess and Ayo struck up a romantic relationship inside the villa, it left Mimii single, but there’s no lingering tension between any of them. In fact, since their stint on the show ended in fourth place, Jess and Ayo have been growing stronger together.
In the final episode, Ayo confided in Jess, saying, “I’m deeply infatuated with you. While we often say ‘I love you’ casually, I genuinely mean it when I tell you that I do love you.” To this, Jess responded, “I understand that our life beyond the villa is going to be exciting.”
Although they haven’t declared each other as boyfriend and girlfriend just yet, they’re inseparable, exploring their lives after leaving the villa together.
Sean Stone and Matilda Draper – STILL TOGETHER
Outside the villa, Matilda and Sean continue to get along well, and they’re handling their transition into post-Love Island life day by day.
After departing the villa, Sean expressed to Digital Spy that he desires to invest additional time with his partner, catch up with friends and loved ones, take Matilda to Hertford, and enjoy vacations together.
Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies – STILL TOGETHER
Nicole and Ciaran have stepped out of the villa as a couple and are now cohabiting! In a TikTok broadcast, Ciaran announced to his audience that he has already relocated to Nicole’s residence.
As a dedicated film fan, I shared with Heat: “We’ve been traveling from one hotel to another instead of being at home. Technically, we haven’t yet resided in the house as our base is still in London, and my abode lies in Wales. However, he has taken up residence, but we are yet to truly live in our home.”
Love Island: All Stars
Molly and Tom – STILL TOGETHER
Molly Smith and Tom Clare emerged victorious as the inaugural champions in the Love Island: All Stars edition. They pocketed an impressive £50,000 reward, splitting it evenly between them.
The couple are still together and often share videos of them pranking one another on social media.
Sophie and Josh – STILL TOGETHER
Despite some challenging times spent together in the villa, Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie remain a couple!
The pair recently enjoyed a lavish trip to Jamaica as they celebrated Josh’s 30th birthday.
Georgia S and Toby – SPLIT
Georgia Steel and Toby experienced a bumpy ride during All Stars earlier in the year, but appeared to be thriving post-finale. Unfortunately, only a few weeks after the series ended, they revealed they had chosen different paths.
Georgia confirmed the news in a post to her Instagram story.
“Having learned about the news concerning my connection with Toby, I believe it’s fair to share accurate information with everyone, so here it is,” she shared.
“It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I’m still trying to process it and come to terms with it all. They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter.”
Georgia H and Anton – SPLIT
In the end, both Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk reached the finale of All Stars, but following weeks of rumors about their relationship, they ultimately parted ways.
According to a source, Georgia and Anton have parted ways. Despite their best efforts, they found it challenging to maintain their relationship due to the distance between them, which eventually became too great to overcome.
However, Anton appears to have moved on after debuting his new relationship at the BAFTA TV Awards.
Love Island: 2023 (summer)
Tyrique and Ella T – SPLIT
It’s commonly known that Ella and Tyrique, who are often at odds, have navigated numerous challenges in their relationship. The latest test they faced was Ella B’s entrance and her direct approach towards Ty.
Regardless of the challenges they encountered along the way, it was this pair who expressed their love for one another first, and they have since made it official by becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
However, six months after making it to the final, the pair went their separate ways.
Whitney and Lochan – TOGETHER
As a long-time fan of Love Island, I must say that this year’s contestant Whitney is undoubtedly one of my favorites. Having followed the show for many seasons, I can confidently say that her charm and charisma truly stand out among the crowd. Recently, it was exciting to see Whitney hit things off with Lochan during Casa Amor. Since then, their easy-going nature and chemistry have made them one of the most endearing couples in the villa. As someone who has watched countless hours of Love Island over the years, I can confidently say that this pair is a breath of fresh air and adds an extra layer of excitement to the show. Here’s hoping they continue to flourish and bring even more joy to viewers like myself!
They enjoyed an extravagant last outing, and it appears they have similar perspectives about life beyond this point, so they continue as a pair.
Jess and Sammy – SPLIT
Regardless of some challenges and changes, Sammy and Jess advanced to this year’s finale with their love stronger than ever before. In fact, Sammy was the initial male contestant to propose a romantic relationship within the villa, and their journey seemed relatively smooth, despite their history of heated disagreements.
Unfortunately, the pair just couldn’t make it work on the outside, and have since split up.
Molly and Zachariah – TOGETHER
As we approached the finale, it was clear that Zach and I, despite our striking differences, had a connection that drew us together like magnets. Earlier in the season, I was unexpectedly let go from the villa, but fate must have had other plans for me since I found myself returning during Casa Amor week to win Zach back.
After addressing their disagreements, Molly later presented Zach with a bracelet she had picked up at the airport as an expression of her feelings for him. Despite them living in different locations – Molly in Doncaster and Zach in south London – they appear determined to make their relationship succeed. This determination seems to have been reinforced after their families seemed to approve during the ‘Meet the Parents’ episode.
Ella B and Mitchel – SPLIT
In simple terms, Mitchell and Ella B were the pair who got eliminated just before the expected finale in the villa during the summer of 2023, as they didn’t quite reach the final round.
In a rather tumultuous turn of events, Abi and Mitchel’s past relationship seemed to cause quite a stir, with them still quarreling and poor Ella B finding herself in an uncomfortable position as a result. The discomfort persisted when Mitchel revealed to his friends that he suspects Ella B is ‘insincere’. As the revelation was broadcasted on Aftersun, we can’t help but wonder how their relationship will evolve from here. At this point, they appear to be an exclusive couple, but only time will disclose the true nature of their bond.
Leah and Montel – SPLIT
Contrary to the affectionate scenes they displayed in the villa, Leah and Montel have gone their separate ways merely two weeks following their elimination. While they encountered some minor challenges within the villa, Montel expressed his feelings openly for Leah after sharing a kiss with Tink during Casa Amor.
As a devoted cinephile, I shared with OK! magazine that after one date, things didn’t seem promising. I confessed, “It wasn’t exactly a romantic moment that made me realize it wouldn’t work out; instead, it was more about acknowledging that this wasn’t something I could envision as a lasting connection between us.”
Catherine and Elom – SPLIT
In an unexpected turn of events, Catherine and Elom were eliminated from the villa before Leah and Montel. Although their relationship had been growing steadily since they reconnected in Casa Amor, Elom did confess his interest in getting acquainted with one of the newcomers in the villa.
Out in the wider world, it’s clear that Elom and Catherine aren’t romantically involved or developing a relationship. Catherine has clarified this by saying, “From the very beginning, we chose to be friends.”
Kady and Ouzy – SPLIT
Upon her return to the villa, Kady quickly made an impact, promptly engaging with the male contestants. She particularly developed a rapport with Zachariah, who was already paired with Molly.
In an unexpected turn of events at Casa Amor, Kady was given the chance to pair up with any boy she preferred, and she chose Zach. This decision resulted in Molly’s departure from the villa. Casa Amor brought about numerous plot twists; Molly returned to the villa, but Kady found no future prospects among the newcomers.
Later on, Kady went back to the villa alone. Not long after, she found herself taking notice of Ouzy, who had been paired with Ella before. They quickly bonded, but their time in the villa was cut short, and they parted ways shortly after leaving the villa and re-entering reality.
Love Island: 2023 (winter)
Kai and Sanam – TOGETHER
The victorious pair from Love Island’s Winter season, who became the very first couple in the show’s timeline to hail from Casa Amor, are continuing their relationship successfully.
Previously, Kai posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram for Sanam’s 25th birthday, expressing her as “the most extraordinary and stunning woman I’ve come across”.
“I’m truly thankful for your presence in my world,” he expressed, eagerly looking forward to sharing countless future milestones together, such as celebrating numerous birthdays. Indeed, they are quite endearing sentiments!
As of 2024, the pair are now engaged!
Kai shared a series of photos on Instagram, accompanied by this caption: “Meet the future Mrs. Fagan. Words like beautiful, caring, loving, and intelligent barely do justice to your qualities. I’m eager to express my love for you now and in the years to come as we embark on our lifetime journey together.”
Ron and Lana – SPLIT
From the very beginning, Ron and Lana formed an unbreakable bond that carried them through to the Love Island finale. Even with the challenges of a long-distance relationship – me being based in Essex and Lana residing up in Manchester – our connection has remained as strong as ever.
Despite their strong relationship outside the villa, the duo has separated, as per reports. Interestingly, they had recently taken a vacation together, but sources claim that the physical distance between them became unmanageable. However, they remain on friendly terms, according to the same source who adds that they are “still good friends.”
Tom and Samie – SPLIT
In April, finalists Samie and Tom announced they had parted ways, only a few weeks following their official union. Translating to social media, Tom penned, “Never imagined I’d write this, but Samie and I are going our different paths now.”
“We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her,” he added. “I’m gutted it’s come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best.”
As a moviegoer reflecting on the journey of “Love Island: All Stars,” I must say, both Tom and Samie have certainly taken their love lives to the next level! With Samie now blossoming in a beautiful new relationship and Tom basking in the glory of his recent victory, it’s clear that their paths have diverged since their time on the island. Their stories serve as a reminder that life goes on after reality TV, and we can’t wait to see what adventures await them next!
Shaq and Tanya – TOGETHER
Tanya and Shaq continue to be deeply in love, and they’ve just posted some adorable photos on social media from their recent lavish vacation, which was spent cruising on a luxury ship.
Before that, they spent the Easter break together, marking the occasion with a trip to Manchester.
Will and Jessie – TOGETHER
When Love Island couples exit the villa, many encounter the challenge of maintaining a long-distance relationship. However, no pair had to face as vast a gap as Will and Jessie, given that she resides in Australia.
After leaving the dating show, it appears that they’ve been able to keep their relationship going strong, as Jesse has taken up residence with Will’s family on their farm.
Jesse and Will recently visited Australia separately, where Jesse spent time with her family, while Will spent an equal amount of time in the United Kingdom with his.
Casey and Rosie – SPLIT
Following a narrow loss in the finals, Casey and Rosie found it difficult to maintain their relationship. Consequently, they revealed their separation only two weeks following their departure from the villa.
Casey shared with a fan on social media, “The life beyond the villa is truly distinct from what it is within, but our friendship shall endure in the future.”
Olivia and Maxwell – SPLIT
After their stint on Love Island ended, Olivia and Maxwell’s relationship didn’t continue for much longer. In early April, they mutually agreed to part ways.
As a devoted cinephile, I can share that, following our departure from the villa, Olivia and Maxwell’s connection seemed to shift. Officially, a spokesperson for her confirmed it. Life has become quite bustling for both of them, leading to the decision to part ways. Currently, Olivia is relishing the opportunity to concentrate on her personal growth and has an array of intriguing work projects lined up. Among these is a thrilling role in the upcoming installment of Fast & Furious!
“It’s sad it didn’t work out but there’s no hard feelings between them.”
Love Island: 2022
Gemma and Luca – SPLIT
In the villa, they experienced highs and lows, but ultimately, Gemma and Luca exited the show in high spirits. Later on, they formalized their relationship, with Luca orchestrating an extravagant proposal for Gemma. He transformed her home and pool into a romantic scene filled with red roses, candles, and balloons. To top it all off, he presented his girlfriend with a £7,000 Cartier bracelet as the final touch.
Unfortunately, the pair are no longer together after announcing their break-up on 16th November.
“Gemma took to her platform to share the news: ‘I’m breaking up with Luca,’ she said.”
“Although it was a tough call, in the end, it seems to be the most beneficial option for us at this moment. We’ve had you by our side since the start of this adventure, and I can’t express enough my gratitude for your unwavering support as we embark on fresh experiences.”
Ekin-Su and Davide – SPLIT
Love Island champions Ekin-Su and Davide experienced one of the most tumultuous relationships in the series history, marked by disagreements within the villa as Davide exclaimed his now well-known phrase, “Liar actress, get out!” at her. Despite their ups and downs, they persevered and ended the show hand-in-hand – and pocketed a £50,000 prize along the way.
After the conclusion of the show, their relationship flourished even more. Living as roommates and producing their own TV series titled “Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings,” they traveled together to their respective homelands. Following a short separation during summer, they found themselves unable to resist one another, and now, it appears that their bond has grown even stronger.
Paige and Adam – SPLIT
In a Love Island first, season 8 saw season 4 star Adam Collard return to the villa as a bombshell.
Initially, Paige Thorne was paired with Jacques O’Neill in the villa. However, when Jacques unexpectedly departed, her focus shifted towards Adam.
The two just missed out on the final, but made things official outside of the villa.
After allegations surfaced about Adam flirting with other women (which he claimed were exaggerated), they eventually parted ways. This was made clear when Paige removed any trace of him from her social media accounts around October.
Indiyah and Dami – TOGETHER
Fan favourites Indiyah and Dami are still going strong after their villa stint.
As a passionate film enthusiast, I’ve got to share some behind-the-scenes drama from my favorite reality show. You know, the one where love blossoms amidst the chaos. So here’s what went down: After Casa Amor’s unexpected twist, Dami found himself drawn towards Summer Botwe, leaving me wondering about his previous flirtations with Indiyah. It was a shocker, but life on reality TV is full of surprises. Indiyah, being the strong woman she is, moved on and formed a connection with Deji, returning to the main villa with him. This decision sparked a heated conversation between her and Dami, igniting some serious drama that left me at the edge of my seat!
After some time, they reconciled and departed the program as a couple. Since then, they’ve been living together and frequently share adorable couple content on their individual social media platforms.
Tasha and Andrew – TOGETHER
Despite the challenges posed by the scandal known as “T-gate,” Tasha and Andrew surprisingly made it to the finals as a couple, with Tasha proposing to seal their relationship.
Supporters of the pair can rejoice, as their relationship appears to be thriving. They’re often spotted together and they’ve even gone a step further by getting matching tattoos.
The pair recently moved in together and adopted a dog!
Danica and Jamie – SPLIT
Danica and Jamie left the show together with the hopes of exploring things outside of the villa.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they managed to keep things going once filming stopped.
1. They’ve taken down photos of one another on their social media profiles, and it was in August when Danica was spotted locking lips with The Only Way Is Essex actor Roman Hackett.
Love Island: 2021
Millie and Liam – BACK TOGETHER!
Buckle up, this one’s a real rollercoaster. Despite a massive wobble in the form of Casa Amor bombshell Lillie, Millie and Liam were crowned the winners of Love Island 2021. In November 2021, they announced that they had purchased their first home together.
About a year following their participation in the show, they revealed they had come to the “difficult choice” of parting ways.
“Hello all, Liam and I felt it best to clear up any rumors, so we’re letting you know that we’ve decided to part ways,” Millie posted on Instagram.
“The wonderful memories we made together on Love Island and throughout the last year will always be treasured, and I genuinely hope Liam finds success in all his future endeavors. As we embark on fresh beginnings, I can’t help but feel optimistic about what lies ahead.”
It appears that the couple may have made up recently, as they’ve been seen vacationing together and attending the premiere of the Barbie movie. Liam himself has shared with the Daily Star that they’re “taking things slowly” these days.
He said: “We did go our separate ways last year for a number of reasons. When you’re in a relationship that’s so public and there’s a lot of people involved and you’re criticised for this and that.”
Kaz and Tyler – SPLIT
Kaz and Tyler had a private understanding before departing from the villa, and soon after, he proposed romance during a sweet bowling outing with their tight-knit group of friends. Regrettably, they parted ways in December 2021, merely three months following their departure from the villa.
“With deep regret, we’ve chosen to part ways in our romantic relationship. We’ve shared an incredible adventure together and there will forever be a unique connection between us,” the couple expressed in their shared statement.
“They stated that they intend to remain closely connected and assist each other in all ways moving forward. They expressed their gratitude for having gone through Love Island together and are committed to aiding one another’s professional endeavors. Since leaving the villa, life has been incredible, yet it’s challenging to adapt to being in the public spotlight. This phase of our journey hasn’t been effortless, but we’re growing accustomed to it. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us; you mean more to us than words can convey.”
Chloe and Toby – SPLIT
In my humble opinion, the love story within the villa was more of a rollercoaster than a smooth sail. However, surprisingly, this couple seemed to navigate their ups and downs beyond the villa walls all the way up to October 2022.
More recently, Chloe disclosed that Toby decided to end things, and she characterized their separation as “the most sorrowful period I’ve experienced throughout my life.”
After the break-up, she moved in with her co-star Millie.
Faye Winter and Teddy Soares – SPLIT
In terms of Feddy, there was plenty of turmoil, but eventually, they ended up finishing the show in third place as boyfriend and girlfriend. Following their departure from the show, they decided to share a home and welcomed a new dog into their family. Regrettably, they announced the end of their relationship in 2023.
Back on the 15th of that fateful year, I couldn’t help but share some news with my followers on social media: it was about the end of a relationship that had been subject to much fan speculation.
As a dedicated movie enthusiast putting pen to paper, I felt compelled to share some personal news. After much deliberation, Teddy and I have chosen different paths, each embarking on our own cinematic adventures. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has accompanied us on this journey, your support has been nothing short of a standing ovation. I remain eternally grateful for the memories we’ve shared together.
Liberty and Jake – SPLIT
Before the finale, these two had already parted ways, with Liberty deciding to leave the show a few days prior, as she came to understand that Jake wasn’t compatible with her.
As a devoted follower, I was thrilled to see the past lovebirds interact again on Love Island: All Stars. Although romantic possibilities weren’t in the cards this time around for both of them, they managed to engage in amicable discussions, effectively burying any lingering drama between them.
Love Island: 2020 (Winter)
Paige and Finn – SPLIT
The first couple announced their relationship within the villa, as Finn shared sweet messages he had stored on his phone aloud.
And they later dropped the L-bomb during their love proposals at the show’s prom.
It’s not surprising that Paige and Finn easily reached the finals and were crowned the winners of Love Island 2020 winter edition.
After spending three years as a couple, they are said to have parted ways in April, having also moved into their shared apartment in Manchester during that time.
As a devoted fan, I’ve learned that Paige and Finn had an amazing journey together, but they are both still quite young and have decided that their path isn’t set in stone for the long haul. A reliable source shared this with The Sun, also mentioning that Paige is currently taking some time to reconnect with her roots in Scotland while she contemplates her next move.
The pair did reunite on Ex on the Beach, but romance was not on the cards for the former couple.
Siannise and Luke T – SPLIT
Although they didn’t secure the top spot on the competition, the pair undeniably found a love story fit for a fairytale instead.
Following their escape from the complicated love triangle, orchestrated by both Wallace and Rebecca, they became utterly inseparable.
In the end, their affection for each other was reciprocal, as neither of them entered into relationships following Casa Amor. Even though there was a brief moment of tension after Luke T became overly enthusiastic about Siannise spending time in the hideaway, they were able to move past it.
From Luke asking her to be his girlfriend in the most romantic way, to the duo being the first couple to exchange those three, little words, it looked like Siannise and Luke could have something very serious.
Beyond the villa, things continued to intensify as they shifted to sharing a residence in North London.
In November 2021, the couple stirred speculation about their separation when Siannise posted an enigmatic Instagram tale featuring a quote by singer Summer Walker.
Under the heading “Still Over It”, the post stated: “It’s not a mystery when someone loves you. Love is demonstrated through actions. Don’t keep justifying those who fail to be there for you. Be wary of warning signs. And remember, you don’t have to remain in a place because you can’t find something better – you will find it and you already do.”
The pair are both in separate relationships.
Demi and Luke M – SPLIT
When it came to finding love in the villa, both contestants were pretty unlucky in love.
Luke M got pied by Jess Gale and Natalia Zoppa, while Demi got dumped by Nas Majeed.
After a match arranged by friends Siannise and Luke T, they eventually discovered love for each other.
But sadly things just didn’t work out between the pair after leaving the villa.
Though we reside five hours apart geographically, our shared determination to collaborate has always been a constant. However, during the challenging times of lockdown, our bond seemed to fray somewhat.
“My energy wasn’t being reciprocated,” Demi later explained.
Luke moved onto series five start Lucie Donlan.
Luke M and Lucie Donlan – TOGETHER
The duo began dating in June 2020 and made their relationship a month later.
They confirmed their romance in a true 21st century style, sharing loved-up Instagram selfies.
In the caption for his photo, Luke referred to someone as his “accomplice,” and Lucie responded with “Youuuu” and some heart-shaped eye emojis.
The pair appear to still be going very strong, often sharing love up snaps on social media.
In May, they took on the role of dog parents when they adopted a rescue pup. To top it off, they also announced their engagement!
Jess and Ched – SPLIT
Following several challenging weeks in her search for the ideal partner, Ched Uzor unexpectedly appeared, sweeping Jess off her feet.
On the show, the finalists declared their relationship as “exclusive,” but despite some out-of-villa dates, things between Ched and Jess ultimately didn’t work out in the end.
According to a representative’s announcement, it’s been confirmed that Jessica Gale and Ched Uzor, who had a rapid courtship on Love Island, have chosen to part ways amicably.
“Although they’ve experienced the impact of social distancing during lockdowns, their friendship remains strong,” it went on. “They genuinely hope for the best for one another and unreservedly want each other to prosper in their respective careers.”
Priscilla and Mike – SPLIT
As a seasoned movie critic, I must say that the charming protagonist of this series certainly didn’t lack potential romantic partners. He came close to forging meaningful relationships with no less than four intriguing ladies within the confines of the villa.
From the moment I encountered Priscilla at Casa Amor, I sensed that she was someone special. Indeed, it wasn’t long before I found myself labeling her as “wifey material.” And as time went on, my feelings for her only grew stronger, confirming that she was indeed the one for me.
Even with their previous histories, the duo remained united, and Mike formally acknowledged their relationship by asking her to be his girlfriend.
In conversation about Love Island, Mike shared: “Since I left the show, I’ve made London my permanent home. Just a few weeks post-villa, we took our relationship to the next level by confessing our deep feelings for each other and admitting that we are in love.”
The discussion quickly shifted towards their upcoming plans, as Mike expressed: “We’re proactive thinkers, often discussing our shared future. The topic of children has come up.”
Priscilla then said: “I just need a ring on my finger!”
Back in June of 2021, as reported by the Daily Mail, I had to bid farewell to a duo that I admired. Yet, even though we’re no longer working together, I’m glad to hear from a reliable source that we’ve managed to maintain our friendship.
Callum and Molly – SPLIT
In the end, they weren’t able to reach the finals because the other islanders opted to keep Priscilla and Mike instead of them.
But, Callum and Molly didn’t let that stop them from cracking on outside the villa.
After being together for three years, the pair apparently split up in September 2023. A source close to them shared with The Sun that it’s unfortunate news, as they made a delightful couple, but their relationship has ended.
On Love Island: All Stars, I got a chance to reconnect with someone, yet our hearts didn’t beat as one. Instead, it was Molly who took home the victory, partnered with Tom Clare!
Sophie and Connor – SPLIT
After the islanders decided to keep Sophie Piper instead of Connor Durman, it seemed as if their journey together might have ended there.
However, the pair rekindled their relationship after Sophie was voted out.
Connor encountered Sophie’s siblings, Rochelle Humes and Lily Piper. Inadvertently, Sophie disclosed that they were in an “exclusive relationship.”
It appeared as if these two were on to a promising venture, but unfortunately, it seems the unfortunate effects of another lockdown have led them to end their partnership.
After a six-month romance, things are said to have “fizzled” out between them.
“Things just fizzled out. They never even went official,” an insider said.
“Due to the lockdown, it never really got off the ground. They mutually decided that maintaining friendship was more suitable.”
Rebecca and Biggs Chris – SPLIT
Despite not having ample time together at the villa due to Biggs’ elimination following the Casa Amor twist, it is clear that the two developed a strong affection for each other outside of the reality show.
During the lockdown, I found myself drawn closer to Rebecca and Biggs, and when restrictions eased, they officially sealed their romantic bond, with plans afoot for cohabitation – a new chapter in their love story unfolding.
In an interview, Biggs mentioned: “We’re still visiting each other’s homes, but we’ve begun exploring new possibilities. Rebecca is planning to move in soon – I can hardly wait! She’s very close to her mom, but has agreed to relocate with me up in Scotland.”
Sadly, the pair called it quits after 19 months together.
“We broke up because we want different things,” Biggs said in an interview with The Sun.
“Rebecca enjoys partying, whereas I aspire for a lifestyle centered around building a family, running a business, and focusing on my career. Ideally, I’d love the ‘career-oriented couple’ life, where my partner and I strive together to create a remarkable family.”
Love Island: 2019
Tommy and Molly-Mae – SPLIT
Tommy and Molly-Mae have become a memorable couple in the annals of Love Island, having cohabited, started a family with the birth of their first child, and gotten engaged. But in an unexpected announcement, Molly-Mae shared on Instagram with her seven million followers that they had parted ways. She kindly asked for privacy during this challenging period.
Initially, I thought our journey as a couple would continue for much longer than five years. However, it’s with great sadness that I must share the news: Tommy and I have ended our relationship. I will forever cherish the greatest gift in my life – my precious daughter.
During the upcoming days and weeks as I find my way through a challenging period, I kindly ask for your understanding and respect of my privacy. I’ll return when I feel ready. Warm regards, Molly-Mae x.
Later on, Tommy expressed his feelings by saying that he was deeply saddened because him and Molly chose to part ways in their romantic involvement.
“Over the past five years, we’ve been blessed with our lovely daughter, Bambi, all thanks to Molly for giving me the joy of fatherhood. Our little one is our utmost concern. We kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy, as well as that of our families, as we journey through this challenging period.”
Curtis and Maura – SPLIT
Dancing on Ice star Maura Higgins split with pro-dancer boyfriend Curtis Pritchard in March 2020.
In the finals, the fourth-place contenders reached this point by dancing, yet their journey towards love was anything but straightforward. Following a breakup with his girlfriend Amy (who could be considered half due to ambiguity), Curtis found himself in a complicated situation when he felt torn between Maura and the newcomer Francesca.
To put it simply, despite our hope that they would remain a couple, Maura and Curtis found themselves in a rockier situation when it emerged that Curtis had been seen in an affectionate hug outside High Wycombe during New Year’s celebration, as reported by The Sun.
But Curtis denied any wrong-doing on Lorraine, explaining: “New year photos is nonsense – you can’t hug somebody or talk to somebody in this day and age without something coming out. Me and Maura are completely fine. I was there watching her on Dancing on Ice yesterday.”
Gossip swirled around the pair once more, as spectators pondered how intimate dancer Maura, aged 29, might become with her dance partner, Alexander Demetriou, during the skating competition. Nevertheless, Maura promptly dismissed such rumors, stating that they were not concerned about the infamous curse.
However, further difficulties arose in their relationship as it was reported that Maura had departed from the National Television Awards without her partner.
As reported, the celebrity from Dancing on Ice left the gathering emotional after an intoxicated argument with Curtis resulted in a heated exchange.
The couple parted ways, and later, Maura began dating Chris Taylor from Love Island. Afterward, she had a romantic involvement with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice, but by October 2021, he announced that they had decided to go different paths.
Maura and Chris – SPLIT
After whispers that they were a couple surfaced, they chose to confirm their relationship on Instagram in November 2020.
But, sadly the pair have now called it quits after six months together.
Through a shared remark, Maura expressed: “Neither of us has committed any wrongs… Our affection, concern, and respect for one another remain profound. Since our first encounter, we’ve formed an incredibly strong bond of friendship that endures.”
She added, “There are no regrets here. Life is about seizing opportunities. We aimed to succeed together, but we’ve discovered that we thrive more as friends. Although some might speculate or fabricate tales, this is the truth. I wish Chris only the best and will always be one of his strongest advocates, with love.”
Chris conveyed a comparable message to his audience with the added note: “Our relationship remains strong, and this choice was made jointly without any wrongdoing from either side. We’ll continue to be friends, just as we have been since the beginning, and I’ll always stand by Maura and support her.”
Lucie and Joe – SPLIT
The surfer girl seemed to have located her “beau” when she and Joe, affectionately known as Sandwich Man, were seen walking together hand in hand towards a dinner engagement in Cornwall, not long after their reunion on Aftersun. They’ve been keeping it casual, telling Caroline Flack that they are simply hanging out as friends, taking things slow, with no immediate plans.
At the TV Choice Awards in September, Lucie explained that they chose to hide their relationship so they could understand each other better without the glare of the limelight.
Yet, it’s been made clear that they’ve parted ways – Joe now finding himself drawn towards another ex-Islander.
Lucie is now loved up with series six star Luke Mabbott.
Greg and Amber — SPLIT
text
Following gossip magazine accounts, Amber clarified the truth during her appearance on Loose Women, explaining that the action she referred to actually took place via text messages.
She mentioned, “Our professions and geographical location were a constant challenge.” She continued, “We’ve always been aware of this hurdle, so I can’t pinpoint what shifted. I truly wanted us to make it work. I’m disheartened that it’s ended, but I’ll persevere. Here’s to moving forward and upward from now on.”
She added: “As far as I’m concerned, I was still hoping to keep things going. A few days back, we had a casual phone conversation, but on that particular day, it was a text message instead. I believe there might have been some misunderstanding.”
Ovie and India – SPLIT
In the grand scheme of things, I found myself entering the picture quite late in the game, turning events around for Ovie. Earlier, he had left Casa Amor with Anna, but alas, she chose to go back to Jordan instead.
On Love Island: The Reunion, the couple affirmed their commitment as an exclusive item, while at the TV Choice Awards, they declared themselves an official couple.
However, following allegations of “split rumors” fueled by false claims made by an Instagram account that accused them of dishonesty during their time in Portugal, a charge firmly denied by the couple, India and Ovie announced their separation at the Pride of Britain awards in October, expressing it as a challenging decision.
Anton and Belle – SPLIT
Initially, they parted ways shortly after exiting the villa, a month ago, according to recent reports – and it’s said that Anton’s affection for musician Craig David may have played a strange role in their reported breakup.
Anton since told Scottish Sun Online: “We’re not together, it’s as simple as that. That’s it.”
Danny and Jourdan – SPLIT
It was generally perceived that Danny and Jourdan were a very stable couple, as they made public in September that they had decided to live together.
A source informed The Sun in October that “Jourdan had been hearing whispers he was communicating with other women.” Later, Jourdan publicly acknowledged their breakup on Instagram, stating that she cannot endure “a lack of respect, disloyalty [and] deceit” within a relationship and shared with followers that “the love was as genuine as the pain I feel now.”
Oh well…
Anna and Jordan – SPLIT
After discovering they were among the bottom three, this pair nearly decided to depart from the island. This happened shortly after Jordan asked Anna to be his girlfriend. The model then informed the guys that he intended to take Anna on a tour of the villa to reminisce about their most significant moments – from where they first shared a kiss, up on the terrace, where Anna realized she had made a mistake in pairing up with Ovie. They expressed enthusiasm for life outside the villa… however, just a day after going public, Jordan admitted that India had caught his attention. Anna accused him of manipulating the game and using her to reach the final. As expected, they abandoned their plans to leave the villa.
Chris and Harley – SPLIT
Chris and Harley ended up paired together following India’s selection of Ovie, even though Chris had expressed his feelings for her beforehand, leaving Harley to choose Chris. Although their beginning wasn’t particularly romantic, they eventually shared their first kiss on a date baking bread, where their relationship began to bloom. However, Chris came close to being broken up with when he sensed that fans believed he and India should be together during the Headline Challenge. After receiving a reprimand from Harley and a lot of apologizing, they reconciled – but unfortunately, were eliminated from the villa. Their official relationship status was confirmed during an interview on Aftersun, when host Caroline Flack asked if they were “exclusive.”
However, only three weeks after leaving the villa, the duo concluded that their relationship worked best as a friendship. Chris shared this update on Instagram, explaining that the separation was mutually agreed upon and that both parties had become too occupied to dedicate enough “good quality time” to each other.
“He wrote that he would be extremely proud of all she’s accomplished and will achieve, adding a cheerful ‘Good luck! Shine on!'”
Love Island: 2018
Kaz and Josh – SPLIT
Initially bursting with enthusiasm about their newly discovered emotions on Instagram, Kaz and Josh ended up third place. However, despite our assumptions that they would have a lasting relationship, it appeared that this couple had broken up just a week after Love Island finalists Megan and Wes called it quits, as they announced their split on Instagram too.
Kaz went on to date series three star Theo Campbell.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve found myself in a beautiful relationship with the stunning model, Ruby Wong. We officially confirmed our bond on Instagram back in September 2020.
Kaz and Theo – SPLIT
In the several months following her breakup with Josh in 2019, Kaz revealed that she had started dating Love Island’s third season contestant, Theo Campbell.
The pair looked to be going pretty well, however, at the start of 2020 they called it quits.
Regarding our split, Theo expressed: “I feel as though I put all my effort into us, and it seems a bit unacknowledged. I’m not sure how to label it. What would be the proper way to phrase it? I feel like I got tossed aside! I’m unsure what to call it.”
It’s unclear if they are presently in a relationship, but it was revealed that Theo welcomed a son named Aries in 2021. This little boy is shared with social media personality, Sapphire Yhnell.
Jack and Dani – SPLIT
Following their trip to Thailand, Jack shared with his followers on Instagram that their relationship had come to an end permanently. He expressed that while they would always hold a special place in their hearts, sometimes paths just don’t align as intended.
Starting from January 2020, I’ve been embracing the joy of fatherhood to my beautiful daughter Blossom, whom I share with Casey Ranger. Currently, I’m in a relationship with Frankie Sims, a star from The Only Way is Essex, and the adored sister of Chloe and Demi Sims.
Jack and Frankie will appear on the new series of MTV’s Ex and the City.
In July of 2020, Dani revealed that she and her partner Sammy Kimmence were expecting their first child together. This announcement came after the conclusion of her relationship with Jack. Their baby boy arrived in January 2021.
In July 2021, Kimmence admitted guilt for committing fraud against two gentlemen aged 70 and 80, amounting to a total of five charges. These individuals are no longer together. As for Dani, she confirmed her relationship with Premier League footballer Jarrod Bowen on Instagram in December 2021. On May 22, 2023, the couple was blessed with twin daughters.
Adam and Zara – SPLIT
To put it simply, Adam’s finding love on Love Island seemed improbable, but he did after pairing up with Zara outside the villa. However, their relationship didn’t last long. In fact, Zara announced their breakup on Instagram following reports of disagreements triggered by Adam going out with Jack Fincham and Sam Bird from Love Island.
Adam initially claimed he hadn’t been untrue, but a subsequent Instagram video of him shooting a gun, captioned “Thank u, next,” led to criticism from some who perceived it as an insensitive jab at his partner Zara. Later, he modified the post and expressed deep affection for Zara, saying he cares a great deal about her.
Currently, Zara is in a relationship with Sam Thompson from Made In Chelsea. They parted ways following an incident where Zara confessed to infidelity, which was highlighted in the E4 show. Nevertheless, they seem to have resolved their issues as they appear to be back on good terms now.
Megan and Wes – SPLIT
Initially, the fourth-place pair, Megan and Wes, stayed together during the holiday special… However, they parted ways approximately a week later due to strife between Megan and Wes’s skating partner, Vanessa Bauer, causing tension. In an unusual turn of events, she revealed that although they have “consciously uncoupled,” they will jointly care for their hamster.
Megan went on to date The Only Way Is Essex’s Demi Sims, however, they split.
Instead of staying together, she transitioned to dating singer-songwriter Chelcee Grimes, and for a short while, they were in a romantic relationship. However, whispers of a separation started circulating as they spent time apart during the coronavirus restrictions.
In 2020, she featured in an episode of BBC’s Eating With My Ex, alongside Demi, and recently, there was a short-lived relationship with James Locke from TOWIE. However, it seems they are not dating currently.
Wes went on to date series five star Arabella Chi after the show.
Wes and Arabella – SPLIT
Following his breakup from Megan, Wes, 23, got with model Arabella, 29.
The duo enjoyed nine months together before going their separate ways.
In my personal opinion as a film critic, I’d say, “There was no underhandedness, no deceit or similar shenanigans; instead, the connection simply lost its spark.” This line is reminiscent of a statement made by a spokesperson in the past.
Laura and Paul – SPLIT
Although they frequently shared affectionate photos on Instagram using the unconventional nickname ‘Paura,’ Laura and Paul never declared their relationship official, and it ultimately ended two months following their second-place finish. In an interview with OK! Magazine, Laura expressed her remorse over the split, which transpired after Paul returned from Burning Man festival.
She had been looking forward to spending more quality time with him upon his return from vacation, intending to establish a stronger bond beyond the villa. Unfortunately, that didn’t materialize as she later shared.
Paul shared with The Sun: “We simply weren’t right for each other. Since the person you end up with could possibly become your life partner, I felt it was crucial to be absolutely certain about it. Currently, we aren’t on speaking terms – it’s a touchy subject. However, I made it clear that I would be available to support her if she ever needed me.”
As a movie critic, I must share an intriguing bit of gossip from the world of television: I’ve found myself in a unique situation, having become part of an on-screen romance that has blossomed into real life! You see, I crossed paths with Gary Lucy, the talented actor from Hollyoaks, while we were both working on Celebs Go Dating. The sparks flew between us, and before we knew it, we had developed a connection so strong that it led to the birth of our child. Quite an unexpected turn of events for this cinephile!
Jack and Laura – SPLIT
In the beginning, there were indications of strife in the supposedly idyllic relationship between New Jack and New Laura. However, they had not formally acknowledged their partnership, although they had been seen exclusively together.
As a movie buff putting it in the first person, “Well, Jack and I have come to the difficult decision to part ways because our schedules are simply too hectic at the moment, leaving us with little time for each other. It has been an incredible journey sharing Love Island with him, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have made a lifelong friend in him. We’re both going to keep cheering each other on as we navigate our individual paths, and I can hardly wait to see where this adventure leads us.”
Georgia and Sam – SPLIT
As a devoted fan, I’ve been following their rollercoaster journey in the villa closely. Despite countless twists and turns, they chose to stand by each other, rejecting the chance to pair up and instead walking away together. That’s unwavering loyalty right there.
On the morning show Good Morning Britain, they officially announced their relationship (proving that romance isn’t always dead) and decided to live together, frequently posting about their “new home” on Instagram. However, they separated a few months later with rumors spreading that Georgia had been untrue to Sam and spent time at her ex-boyfriend’s place – something she vehemently denied.
Charlie and Ellie – SPLIT
After parting ways from the villa, the duo embarked on a luxurious yacht trip to Monaco a few weeks later. Quite swanky, don’t you think? However, an article by Mail Online claimed that they had a major argument during the filming of Love Island: The Reunion. Ellie subsequently admitted that she was upset with Charlie for drinking with Frankie Foster before the show.
Following several public disagreements, they officially went their separate ways. To clarify, Charlie posted on his Instagram Story, “I’d like to let everyone know that Ellie and I have chosen to end our relationship. I wish her nothing but the best!”
In 2019, Ellie had a short-lived romance with television personality Michael Griffiths, whom she met on the reality show Ex on the Beach. However, their relationship has since taken a turn for the worse as Ellie revealed that she developed strong feelings of dislike towards him due to his swift move to find new love following their separation.
Samira and Frankie – SPLIT
Despite limited on-screen displays of their romance, Samira and Frankie appeared deeply affectionate towards each other. In fact, she opted to leave the Love Island experience when he was eliminated through voting.
Love Island: 2017
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies – SPLIT
Beyond a few unexpected relationship ups and downs, Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies appeared to be an ideal couple. It wasn’t surprising that they captured the affections of many and were declared Love Island winners. They shared and fairly divided the £50,000 prize money they received.
Regrettably, come December, I found myself saying goodbye to a partnership. “We’ve chosen to go our separate ways,” a communique revealed. “Our busy schedules have proven challenging. However, we will continue to cherish our friendship.”
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt – TOGETHER
Following a series of failed romantic encounters and a split with Jonny Mitchell following their disagreement on feminism, it seemed that Camilla’s love life was cursed. However, exactly 31 days after she entered the villa, Jamie Jewitt made an appearance. The duo quickly gained popularity among fans and ended up placing second in the series.
It’s wonderful to share that their love remains strong, and they’ve taken their relationship a step further by starting a business venture together. Indeed, Jamilla seems like a permanent part of their lives – in February 2019, she moved in with her partner, along with their charming dogs, Audrey and Gus.
In October, 2020, they had their daughter Nell as new parents. A few months afterward, in February 2011, Jamie asked Camilla for her hand by proposing with a custom-made ring. They got married in September 2021 and added another member to their family in 2022.
This might just be our fave couple!
Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood – SPLIT
During their stay at the villa, these two seemed to have an on-again, off-again relationship that was more frequent than flipping a switch. Leaving the villa didn’t seem to bring them any closer. In fact, they starred in their own ITVBe spin-off titled Chris and Olivia: Cranking Up the Drama, where they argued, argued, and arguably argued some more – until eventually, they decided to end things for good.
Chris dated Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, however, they split in April after 16 months together.
Olivia is now married to her boyfriend Bradley Dack, following a romantic proposal in Dubai.
Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen – SPLIT
After dating for nearly a year, the shock news came in May 2018 that Marcel and Gabby had broken up. And no, we couldn’t believe it either.
Following whispers about infidelity, a representative for Marcel stated: “Regrettably, the gossip is accurate; Gabby and Marcel have parted ways. Marcel acknowledges that his actions were not right and will carry the remorse for them throughout his life.”
Initially, Gabby was with Myles Stephenson from the group Rak-Su, but their relationship ended after a year. Currently, she is in a relationship with model Brandon Myers.
Marcel is married to Rebecca Vieira, and they share a little boy named Roman together.
Montana Brown and Alex Beattie – SPLIT
It wasn’t too surprising when, approximately 3.7 seconds after exiting the villa, Montana Brown and Alex Beattie chose to go their own paths – with it appearing that Montana was the one who initiated the split.
Reflecting upon our conversation with the radiant sun, I found myself confessing, “Her enchantment has left me solo, and it feels liberating. No longer bound by the weight of relationships, I can channel my energy towards self-discovery and personal growth.”
In December 2022, it was announced that Montana is pregnant with her first child by her partner, Mark O’Connor, and they have since had a baby boy whom they named Jude.
Jessica Shears and Dom Lever – TOGETHER
Although they were the ones who left the villa first, Jess and Dom have refused to let this setback hinder them.
Indeed, the duo generated one of the most awkward scenes ever on television during Good Morning Britain’s live broadcast on Valentine’s Day 2018, as they were ‘married’ (in a manner of speaking), while dressed in swimwear. Since their GMB wedding wasn’t legally recognized, the couple officially exchanged vows at an intimate ceremony in Mykonos, with only a few guests and OK! magazine present.
The couple now have two children together. Their second was born in June 2022.
Love Island is coming back on Monday, June 3rd, airing at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX, STV, and the STV Player. If you’d like to catch up on past seasons, they are all available on ITVX. And if you haven’t seen them yet, you can watch all previous seasons of Love Island on BritBox, where a 7-day free trial is currently offered.
