My Hero Academia Creator Reveals the Funniest Secret About All Might Yet

As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I can’t help but feel a tad bit sorry for All Might. Here’s a man who dedicated his life to protecting the city and became an icon, yet he seems to have missed out on one crucial aspect – romance! It’s like he was battling villains day in and day out, but when it came to winning over the fairer sex, he struck out every time.

Although the manga for My Hero Academia has concluded, creator Kohei Horikoshi continues to play a significant role within the superhero shonen universe. Apart from contributing to the anime series and movie adaptations, the talented artist is also answering questions about the world he built. In a recent interview, Horikoshi provided insights into characters such as Mirko, Aoyama, and others, but it was his revelation regarding All Might that left fans in awe. It turns out that despite being proficient in numerous crime-fighting areas, there was one significant aspect of Toshinori Yagi’s life he never experienced.

In essence, All Might plays a significant part in the battle against All For One and Shigaraki within the anime adaptation of the manga’s conclusion. Despite his loss of superpowers due to the draining of One For All in combat, All Might remains valuable for his sharp intellect and extensive experience as a hero. Although the manga has come to an end, there are still key events planned for the anime series prior to its own conclusion.

All Might Isn’t a Ladies’ Man

In a recent interview, Kohei Horikoshi revealed that Toshinori Yagi has no history with romantic relationships. The lack of romance in “My Hero Academia” is expected, but it’s still surprising to learn that All Might has had no success in his personal life despite being the Symbol of Peace, suggesting that some challenges were too great for him to overcome in this aspect.

In the television series of “My Hero Academia,” All Might continues to play a role, but there’s an exciting twist coming up in “My Hero Academia: You’re Next.” A sinister counterpart, known as Dark Might, has been introduced in the fourth film of the franchise. This character appears to share the same abilities as Toshinori, but his actions are significantly less selfless than those of the original hero. Although the movie is currently showing in Japanese cinemas, Western anime enthusiasts will have to wait until October to watch Class 1-A face off against this new villain.
