NBA 2K25 Reveals New Features and Improvements for The W

As a seasoned gamer and basketball enthusiast with decades of playing NBA 2K under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming release of NBA 2K25 has me more excited than ever! The WNBA-focused mode with its press conferences and new outdoor court environment is a game-changer for me.

Prior to the upcoming launch, developers Visual Concepts and 2K Games are progressively revealing details about NBA 2K25. In their recent update, they’ve disclosed some of the major enhancements and fresh features coming to The W in this edition of the game.

In the WNBA-centric setting, players will strive to surpass legends in the sport, such as Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso, and A’ja Wilson (who graces one of this year’s covers). This year introduces press conferences, giving gamers more power to shape their career stories at pivotal moments, like after significant games, achieving career milestones, receiving awards, and similar occasions.

In addition, The W Online is planning to relocate to a fresh setting – an open-air court nestled within a forest grove. Here, players can engage in thrilling 3v3 team games. Also returning are the Weekly Community Objectives, and a novel feature called Mentorship will be introduced. This Mentorship system is connected with the Community Goals.
