Naruto Creator Celebrates the Uzumaki Family With New Sketch

As a die-hard fan who has grown up with Naruto and now shares the journey of Boruto, it feels like a rollercoaster ride that just won’t stop! The recent turn of events in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is nothing short of breathtaking, making me wonder what Masashi Kishimoto had for breakfast to come up with such masterpieces.

In the era of the Boruto series, “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” has been likened to the Shippuden segment. Due to the latest developments penned by creator Masashi Kishimoto, Boruto Uzumaki has faced some of his toughest times yet. With the Seventh Hokage’s son battling both new adversaries and familiar faces, Naruto fans eagerly anticipate when Studio Pierrot will revisit the Hidden Leaf Village. To mark this milestone for the franchise, both Masashi Kishimoto (creator) and Mikio Ikemoto (artist) have joined forces to depict a reunited Naruto and Boruto Uzumaki in a special collaboration.

Previously, Naruto Uzumaki and his companion Hinata were in trouble. To eliminate potential threats due to Kawaki’s intention to destroy the Otsutsuki, he devised a plan to isolate Naruto, who is also the Seventh Hokage, and Hinata. Instead of eradicating the central characters from the shonen series, Kawaki imprisoned them within a surreal world that wouldn’t pose problems for him. Given that Boruto, the son of the Seventh Hokage and a shared vessel with Momoshiki, is a key target, it’s logical that Kawaki wanted to avoid any resistance from Naruto.

Naruto x Boruto: Reunion

Initially, when the show “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” debuted, Masashi Kishimoto was not working on the sequel series featuring a fresh group of characters to dominate the ninja realm. Later on, Kishimoto reappeared and orchestrated quite a few significant events to make a dramatic comeback. He decisively eliminated both Jigen and Kurama the Nine-Tailed Fox, causing a lot of turmoil in Boruto’s life. In recent times, Masashi has been creating numerous obstacles for Boruto.

When the “Naruto” anime resumes, it won’t primarily focus on Boruto. Instead, Studio Pierrot plans to delve into Konoha’s past by narrating tales from the early days of the franchise, concentrating on Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura’s time in Team 7. Originally, these episodes were scheduled for release last year, but they had to be put on hold indefinitely. However, recent rumors suggest that these installments may soon be released.
