When questioned about Punk’s function in the episode and the anticipation of fans, Michaels replied, “I can’t reveal too much at this moment regarding his role. However, he will definitely be present, and he has a significant part to play for us. Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, there are undoubtedly more surprises on the horizon.”

“Michaels shared that the NXT Universe is thrilled to be performing in Chicago. Although they cherish their home base here in Orlando, traveling and performing for diverse crowds is a significant occasion for them. Next week, NXT kicks off its new CW chapter with two major events – one in Chicago at the Allstate Arena on October 1st, where CM Punk is set to appear, and another in St. Louis at the Enterprise Center on October 8th, featuring Randy Orton, The Viper himself.

“Dennis Miller, President of The CW Network, expressed excitement about the addition of WWE to our sports lineup because it aligns with our goal of providing year-round live sports events. WWE NXT is an ideal match for us due to its vibrant young performers who are rising stars in the industry and the thrilling, unforeseeable weekly shows. The enthusiasm and devotion of WWE’s fanbase is exceptional, and we can’t wait to expand that audience as WWE NXT finds a new home on broadcast television.”

According to Nick Khan, WWE President, The CW has made significant advancements in its sports programming lineup over the past year. It’s an incredibly thrilling prospect to broaden the reach of NXT by airing the show on broadcast television for the first time ever in NXT’s history.
