A third Monsters Inc. movie is in the works. The first sequel, Monsters University, actually earned more money worldwide ($743.5 million) than the original film, and its success led to the creation of the TV series, Monsters at Work, which lasted for two seasons. Details about the director and storyline for the new movie are currently being kept secret.
While the first season of The Night Agent was a hit, viewership dropped considerably in later seasons. Season 2 had 13.9 million viewers, and season 3 only 8.4 million – a nearly 60% decrease from the original numbers. This, combined with a slower renewal process for season 4, led to uncertainty about the show’s future. Fortunately, Netflix has officially renewed the spy thriller for another season and shared some initial story details, easing fans’ worries.

Green Arrow is a long-running DC Comics character with a fascinating history. He first appeared in the Golden Age of comics as a Batman-like figure inspired by Robin Hood, then faded into obscurity with many other heroes from that era. He resurfaced in the Silver Age and gained popularity through appearances in Justice League of America and a story arc called “Hard-Traveling Heroes,” but his popularity waned again. He got another boost in the 1980s with the Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters storyline and continued to be featured until the 1990s, when in a very typical move for DC at the time, the character was killed off and replaced by his son, Connor. He remained dead for the rest of the decade. Then came a surprising turn of events: a well-respected filmmaker wanted to revitalize Oliver Queen’s comic book, and the effort unexpectedly began at Marvel Comics.
Even after a whole separate show focused on trying to defeat him, Homelander appears invincible. The recently released trailer for Season 5 of The Boys reveals his plan: he’s determined to obtain the original V-One formula to make himself immortal. This means the team needs to infect him with a virus before he can achieve that. By setting this up, the show quietly establishes that the TV version of Homelander is even more powerful than his comic book counterpart. The game launched just recently on March 5th, and players are still busy discovering everything Tau Ceti has to offer. The Avengers movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe contained several missed chances for the heroes to defeat Thanos. With a bit more foresight or good fortune, the Avengers likely could have prevented Thanos’s victory in Infinity War. Even though Doctor Strange believed there was only one path to success, different choices earlier on could have resulted in a much better outcome.
As a huge X-Men fan, I’ve seen them all – the original trilogy, Logan’s three films, the First Class sequels, The New Mutants, and of course, the Deadpool movies. Some were amazing, others… not so much. But going back and watching the whole series really struck me. Now that Marvel’s finally bringing the X-Men into the MCU, they have a real chance to take what Fox did right – and wrong – and build something truly special.
Pearl Abyss’s upcoming game, Crimson Desert, launches on Xbox Series X and other platforms on March 19th. A great feature for players who enjoy gaming on both Xbox and PC is Xbox Play Anywhere – you only need to buy the game once to play it on both, and your save progress will carry over. If you only play on one platform, this isn’t a big deal, but for those who play on both, it saves you from having to buy a second copy (around $70) and lets you have different save files for each.
I’m so hyped for Maul – Shadow Lord coming to Disney+ in April! It’s a 10-episode animated series that’s going to connect the end of the Republic with the beginning of the Empire’s criminal world. The story takes place on this really cool, visually striking planet called Janix, and it follows Maul – Sam Witwer is amazing as always – as he tries to find his place in a galaxy that’s moved past the whole Jedi vs. Sith thing. Apparently, the creators are going for a noir vibe, and it’s actually based on ideas George Lucas had decades ago! It’s wild to think this show is finally bringing one of his original visions to life, even after Disney took over. I can’t wait to see it!
