Emily in Paris star hints “love might come back round” for Alfie and Emily in part 2

As a dedicated fan who has followed Emily in Paris since its inception, I must say that season 3 left me hanging like a baguette in the boulangerie – tantalizingly close to finding out if Emily would finally choose between Alfie and Gabriel. The cliffhanger was akin to being stuck in a Parisian traffic jam on a hot summer day – frustrating yet somehow still enjoyable.

After finishing Emily in Paris season 3, everyone’s left pondering whether or not things will work out between the characters, as it ended with quite a suspenseful cliffhanger.

Initially, Alfie (Lucien Lavinscount) and Emily’s (Lily Collins) future seemed incredibly promising, but that all changed when her hidden feelings for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) surfaced, causing a halt to Gabriel and Camille’s (Camille Razat) wedding and prompting Alfie to leave the scene.

Looking forward to maintaining a relaxed atmosphere again in season 4, correct? However, the road ahead might still be a bit rocky for Alfie and Emily, as hinted by the show’s main actor, Laviscount.

When queried about whether Alfie has possibly missed his opportunity to express his true feelings towards Emily or if a potential declaration of love could occur later on, Laviscount replied: “I believe that love may reappear at some point in life. I don’t think anything is permanently closed off.”

In light of the Alfie and Emily situation, I’ve found myself taking sides, and I must say, I believe Alfie deserves a second chance. I might need a day or two to fully grasp what’s happened, but I don’t think this is the end for him. Some relationships are indeed irreversible, but it seems that with Alfie, there might still be hope, somewhere down the line.

In the upcoming season, the aftermath of Season 3 will persistently echo within the lively French metropolis, as the split-release format keeps viewers guessing and anticipating.

Following the tumultuous turn of events at Camille and Gabriel’s ill-fated wedding, Emily finds herself in turmoil: She harbors deep feelings for two men, but now Gabriel is expecting a child with his former partner, while Alfie’s longstanding concerns about her and Gabriel have proven to be true.

The unquestionable connection between Emily and Gabriel, evident in their shared pursuit of a Michelin star, could potentially be dismantled by two major secrets that pose a significant risk to their cherished aspirations.

As a dedicated cinephile, I’m eagerly anticipating potential developments for another season, which Lily Collins hinted at recently, along with the exciting second half of season 4 that lies ahead!
