My Hero Academia Creator Shares New Deku/Shigaraki Art For Anime's Return

As a seasoned gamer and avid anime enthusiast with over two decades of immersion in the world of manga and anime, I have to say that My Hero Academia continues to captivate me with its riveting storyline and intricate character development. The latest episode from Season 7 has taken things to a whole new level, especially with the epic confrontation between All For One and One For All.

The hit anime series, My Hero Academia, has come back with a fresh episode in its seventh season! Although mangaka Kohei Horikoshi has concluded the manga’s final chapter, he remains eager to create new versions of his iconic heroes and villains. With Studio Bones animating Deku versus Shigaraki, Horikoshi couldn’t resist sharing a fresh perspective on their confrontation, including All For One and One For All. As always, the artist excels at breathing life into his characters through his captivating art.

In the most recent episode of “My Hero Academia”, Deku (Midoriya) has jumped headfirst into confronting Shigaraki. After a small setback due to Toga’s meddling with the initial attack strategy, he made his way back to UA Academy. With help from Star And Stripe’s companions, Midoriya returned to the battlefield. During the latest fight, he showcased several Quirks, but it was the Second Vestige of One For All, Kudo, that truly amplified his power through Gearshift. The future seems optimistic for Midoriya and his team of crime fighters.

Regardless of losing his unique abilities through the actions of Eraserhead and Monoma, Shigaraki remains a formidable opponent. Maximizing the potential of his rebuilt physique, Tomura demonstrates a power comparable to All Might, coupled with bizarre appendages sprouting from his body.

In a recent conversation with Kohei Horikoshi, we discussed his franchise and its inspiration from the character of Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe. Specifically, there’s a scene in “Spider-Man 2” where Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man stops a runaway train, revealing his true identity to the passengers. A child then gives him back his mask and says, “I won’t tell anyone.” To me, this scene encapsulates the essence of what it means to be a hero – someone who assists ordinary people, with those very same people helping in return. I believe that this is the definition of a hero, and there is nothing more to it than that.
