Former AEW Champion Approaching Return to the Ring

Former AEW Champion Approaching Return to the Ring

As a long-time fan of AEW, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation as the clock ticks closer to AEW All In. The upcoming event promises a thrilling lineup of matches that could potentially reshape the landscape of professional wrestling.

Previously known as the AEW Trios Champion Jay White, has been sidelined due to an injury on his foot, resulting in the “Bang Bang Gang” losing their titles immediately. In their absence, a new group – Christian Cage, Killswitch and Nick Wayne, collectively referred to as The Patriarchy – took over the championships. However, they’ve continued their feud with the former champions. At the upcoming AEW All In event in London, Juice Robinson and The Gunn will attempt to wrestle the belts from The Patriarchy in a massive ladder match. The Patriarchy must prepare for this challenge, as well as potential threats from House of Black and another unforeseen trio.

Fans have definitely missed White during his break, as they are avid supporters of the popular group. If recent reports are accurate, fans might not have to wait much longer to see him back in action on AEW television. According to Fightful Select, White is now healthy and being considered for a return “soon.” Although there’s no exact date or schedule, Fightful suggests that his absence was never meant to be prolonged, possibly indicating that it wasn’t a severe injury.

If he manages to arrive on time for AEW’s journey to the UK, there’s a chance he might debut as early as this week’s AEW Dynamite in Cardiff, Wales. Earlier reports suggest that AEW All In will feature between 10 and 12 matches, with the inclusion of a trios match that brings the total to 10. It’s uncertain whether this count includes the Zero Hour event or not, but it seems he could still be included in the lineup without any issues.

The AEW All In event is gearing up to be a significant showcase, filled with thrilling championship bouts. As the night unfolds, we might see one or more individuals crowned as new champions, leading AEW into its next phase. Among these matches are two women who were previously overlooked in AEW. Over the past year, this trend has started to change, particularly since Mercedes Mon?’s joining in March. Bryan Danielson is set to challenge for the AEW World Championship, but the stakes of the match have been raised, as it will be a title battle against Swerve’s reign and Danielson’s career. Here is the complete lineup for AEW All In.
