Microsoft is Looking to Revive the Licenses for Deadpool and Marvel Ultimate Alliance – Rumour

As a seasoned gamer with memories of countless hours spent saving the world as Deadpool and battling villains alongside my fellow heroes in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia upon hearing the news that these beloved games might make a triumphant return.


Over the last few years, Marvel’s gaming endeavors have grown substantially, yet many cherished older games based on Marvel’s licenses are hard to find or play due to their licenses having expired. However, there’s hope that some of these beloved classics might return.

According to Nick Baker, co-founder of XboxEra, he mentioned on a recent episode of the XboxEra Podcast that Microsoft is making efforts to renew the licenses for the Xbox One versions of Deadpool and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. These games were initially released by Activision.

In more recent times, it’s become quite challenging to locate these game titles due to their removal from availability after license expirations. However, considering the enduring appeal of the characters in these games, it seems plausible that Microsoft might attempt to reintroduce them.

It’s yet unclear if these games will result in a revival, but given their popularity among fans, it’s certain that there will be a high level of interest in bringing them back.
