A trademark application by Techland, observed by @Kurakasis last week, was submitted for the phrase “Dying Light: The Beast” in early August. Unfortunately, the trademark doesn’t disclose specific details, leaving it unclear whether it signifies a brand new Dying Light game or relates to Dying Light 2 instead.
Following the debut of “Dying Light 2,” Techland announced their intention to provide ongoing support for the game even after its launch, and they have already confirmed additional downloadable content for the open-world action title. However, it’s intriguing that a trademark for “The Beast” doesn’t seem directly linked to “Dying Light 2.” This could potentially indicate the introduction of the series’ first spin-off game.
