After much anticipation, Square Enix has officially set a release date for the PC version of Final Fantasy 16. A free demo of this action RPG is now accessible on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, the game’s system requirements have been disclosed via Steam, allowing players to prepare their systems accordingly before the launch.

All configurations will require Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 12, and 170 GB of available installation space. A solid-state drive is also mandatory. At the very minimum, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, and either a Radeon RX 5700, an Intel Arc A580 or an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. This will deliver 720p/30 FPS gameplay.

The suggested specifications include either a Ryzen 7 5700X or an Intel Core i7-10700 CPU, 16 GB of memory, and a graphics card like the Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080. At this point, the requirements for 4K resolution have not been finalized, so keep an eye out for additional updates.
