However, unlike his birthday celebrations – one of which had a humorous theme centered around “poop” – the Jonas Brothers singer marked his milestone not just with family, but also friends and fans.
Starting from August 15th, my world turned magical as my brothers, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, took me by surprise with a majestic three-tiered cake during their performance at the Illinois State Fair. To immerse myself further into the festivities, I adorned a denim cowboy hat emblazoned with my new age, truly living every moment of this unforgettable weeklong celebration!
He joked onstage, as seen in a viral video, by saying “Today is all about me.” Alternatively, “He playfully declared while on stage that today was all about him,” or simply, “He announced on stage that the spotlight was on him today.”
Over the weekend, I was incredibly honored to be celebrated by none other than my fellow Camp Rock alums, Matthew Hechter and Chris Brandon. They threw me an unforgettable beach getaway that felt like a second home. Scattered throughout were fun decorations, including a hilarious banner that read, “Holy smokes, I’m 35!” Snapshots of the festivities graced Instagram Stories, and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever.
Indeed, the theme was carried through to the bathroom ornaments as well. To underscore the meticulous planning by his friends, Joe posted a picture on August 18th showing a roll of toilet paper decorated with a poop emoji and the message, “You’re 35.”
He added in a separate post, “One unforgettable weekend.”
As someone who has gone through a divorce myself, I can empathize with Joe’s situation. His recent birthday, the first one since his separation from Sophie Turner, must have been bittersweet for him, as he celebrated another year of life while grappling with the end of a significant relationship.
