As a dedicated fan who has followed the thrilling journey of Hawkins’ misfit gang since their first foray into the Upside Down, I am beyond excited about the upcoming finale of Stranger Things. With its unique blend of 80s nostalgia, supernatural mystery, and coming-of-age drama, this series has become a beloved staple in pop culture.

That’s why, in an open and candid manner, Winona Ryder shared her genuine thoughts about the approaching last season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things”, a series she has been part of since 2016.
She shared with TopMob News exclusively that the filming continues and will carry on until the end of this year. She mentioned that it would be a mix of emotions, describing it as “bittersweet.”
Looking back over the eight years since the first season aired (and adding a few more for filming time), the actress who plays Beetlejuice in the TV series – with her movie releasing on September 6th – finds it hard to comprehend how the show has managed to turn the world on its head.
She pointed out that this year marks a decade since the show first aired, and she never imagined its success would be as wild as it has become, much like the character Beetlejuice in the movie. Undeniably, the first four seasons of “Stranger Things” have attracted an almost fanatical fan base, catapulting its young cast members like Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Gaten Matarazzo to extraordinary levels of popularity.
However, as Winona pointed out, even though season four came out in 2022, they’re still working on the final fifth installment. Interestingly, Maya Hawke, who portrays Robin Buckley in the series, has recently assured us that the wait will be worth it.
In a recently released sneak peek video signaling the commencement of season five, several of the initial actors shared their thoughts on the character development and experiences they’ve had with the show since it first began.
As Millie reflected, “I started when I was 10. I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird.”
But for many of them, including Gaten, they wouldn’t have had it any other way.
As I stand here, the now 21-year-old me, who embodies Dustin Henderson in this incredible series, can’t help but feel at home. The memories flood back, reminding me of the passion that drives me and the unparalleled joy I experience with every scene.

In simple terms, Maya said on the June 27th episode of Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed that they’re producing approximately eight full-length films. The episodes are quite extensive in length.
The Duffer Brothers, namely Matt and Ross, are incredibly dedicated to their fanbase, always taking their responsibilities towards them very carefully.
Maya went on to say, “Our showrunners, Matt and Ross, shoulder a significant amount of the responsibility. They have a fantastic writing staff, but they’re deeply engaged in the process. Crafting each season requires considerable time, and filming them also takes a substantial amount of time.”
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve recently caught a glimpse into the upcoming season five, and it was nothing short of nostalgic to see some familiar faces reflecting on their personal journeys alongside this series since its birth.
As Millie reflected, “I started when I was 10. I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird.”

Even though Max’s situation remains uncertain, Matt and Ross Duffer revealed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that Dr. Brenner (played by Matthew Modine) has indeed met his end permanently. In their words, “He’s done for good.”
Just like Eddie (Joseph Quinn), who gave himself to the Demobats to buy time for the other children battling, expressed his desire to TopMob News about potentially returning to the show. He stated, “I’d be quite open to it. But we’ll have to wait and see.”
Regarding Max (Sadie Sink), her brothers remain hopeful and unwilling to give up on her recovery at this time. They have shared that while she is technically brain dead, she is still alive. This unfortunate state has resulted in her being blind and having every bone in her body broken.
In an interview with Deadline, Sadie expressed uncertainty about Max’s situation: “It’s unclear what will happen next,” she said. “Max’s storyline is currently uncertain because she’s in a coma and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) can’t locate her in the Upside Down. So we don’t know where she might be or what condition she’s in.”
Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy on the show, is finding it hard to decide who Nancy should be with. On one side, she feels that Nancy and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) make a good couple, but she also notices that Steve (Joe Keery) has matured. There’s a part of her that thinks Nancy shouldn’t be with either of them. “It’s really difficult,” she said in an interview with Variety. “I don’t know. It seems like Nancy has been in a relationship for a while, so maybe she needs some time for self-discovery.”
She continued, “Whatever happens, I would hope that she does it with integrity. I personally had some crunchy feelings about how the whole Jonathan thing started sort of behind Steve’s back. I can’t believe she did that. I mean, I can.”
In the final episode of the season, it was revealed that Will (Noah Schnapp) and Vecna remain connected, having been linked together during season two. When asked if viewers could expect more interactions between these characters in season five, Jamie Campbell Bower hinted to TopMob News: “Well, we all know by now that Vecna and Will share a past, so it would certainly be delightful to revisit that connection again.”
Originally, Joyce (Winona Ryder), Will (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) decided to begin a new life in California. However, it appears that the Byers family has grown nostalgic for Hawkins and their old friends there. Consequently, they plan to abandon their California home and return to Indiana in season five, joining Hopper and Eleven along the way.
As a devoted enthusiast sharing insights on our season five intentions, I can say that the narrative largely unfolds in Hawkins, with significant elements also found in the Upside Down. However, the core essence of this season revolves around everyone reuniting. It’s about bringing everyone back, gathering them all once more in the heart of Hawkins.
The creators known as the Duffer Brothers have primarily mapped out season five, the concluding chapter, yet it remains uncertain when production will start.
In an interview with Deadline, Sadie Sink stated, “Since the previous season spanned over two years, it’s hard to predict how long season five will take. However, I believe the Duffers won’t hasten things. They aim to create a final season that is as outstanding as possible.”
It appears that the Duffer Brothers are reducing the number of scenes in the final season, without necessarily hurrying the process. They’ve indicated that the remaining episodes might be a bit shorter, but they expect the finale to once again span a full-length feature.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: In the upcoming season, we won’t dive straight into a supernatural mystery like before. Instead, we’ll take a leisurely two-hour journey getting to know our characters, understanding their struggles, and witnessing their everyday lives – from figuring out high school dynamics to Steve’s quest for a date. But rest assured, the intrigue and suspense that you love will still be there; it’s just a matter of patiently waiting to unravel them in season 5.

The streaming platform shared on social media, “This signals Code Red,” which means that the filming for Stranger Things 5 has commenced!!!
