Suits Star Patrick J. Adams Joins Yellowstone Spinoff Madison

As a die-hard fan of westerns and a connoisseur of Patrick J. Adams‘ versatile acting skills, I am absolutely thrilled to see him joining the cast of Madison! His portrayal of Mike Ross in Suits and his brief stint as Hourman on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow have only served to strengthen my belief that he can bring a depth and complexity to Russell McIntosh that will make this character truly unforgettable.

Actor Patrick J. Adams, who appears in both ‘Suits’ and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’, has been added to the cast of ‘Madison’, the upcoming series within Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Yellowstone’ franchise. In this new production, Michelle Pfeiffer will star as a family in New York City moves to the Madison River valley of central Montana is portrayed. The series delves into themes of grief and human connection, providing a poignant exploration of these topics. Originally titled “2024”, the contemporary setting may mark a significant change in tone compared to other ‘Yellowstone’ shows, which are set during periods ranging from the Civil War to the Great Depression.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s initial report, Bryan Adams has been cast as Russell McIntosh, a character who has adhered to the course of his life since its inception, as described by his official character summary. Adams is joining a cast that includes Elle Chapman and Beau Garrett. Previously, Paramount was rumored to be negotiating with Matthew McConaughey for a role, but it’s unclear if he would have taken the lead from Meryl Streep or if he was intended to appear alongside her.

Adam, most recognized for portraying Mike Ross in the long-running USA Network show “Suits”, made a brief appearance as Hourman in “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”. Lately, he has been seen in “The Right Stuff”, “A League of Their Own”, and “Plan B”.

The buzz surrounding the new offshoot of Yellowstone is growing, as Paramount gears up to air the final episodes of the original series in November. Notably absent from these last installments will be star Kevin Costner, who has been unable to reach a deal with Paramount for his appearance. The hit show Yellowstone has already spawned two successful spinoffs – 1883 and 1923 – and there are rumors of more shows set within the same universe in development.

As a devout Yellowstone fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming western and neo-western projects within our beloved universe. Despite the disappointing box office performance of Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga Part One, he’s mulling over strategies for releasing the remaining parts. Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan has several exciting projects in the pipeline. He’s working on Landman, and looking forward to another season of Tulsa King, a captivating crime/comedy/drama starring Sylvester Stallone, both streaming on Paramount+.

The series “Madison” is a collaboration between MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. The executive producers for this project are Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Keith Cox.
