Rachel Recchia Details Health Battle, Slams Plastic Surgery Rumors

As a fervent admirer of Rachel Recchia, I cannot help but be moved by her unyielding spirit and resilience in the face of adversity. Her recent health struggles have been nothing short of arduous, yet she has faced them with courage and grace.

Rachel Recchia is addressing a thorn in her side.

Previously featured contestant on ‘The Bachelorette’ addressed speculation regarding her recent weight loss, firmly denying allegations that she underwent facial cosmetic procedures or opted for plastic surgery to achieve a slimmer figure.

Instead, Rachel noted that the change of appearance was the result of a lengthy health battle.

On August 18th, I shared on my Instagram Stories that I’ve been battling a severe illness since May. It turned out to be a nasty kidney infection that unfortunately affected my back muscles, leading me to spend time in the hospital for treatment.

As reported by the 28-year-old individual, she had been under treatment with antibiotics via a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) for more than a month. This prolonged course of treatment left her feeling extremely fatigued and queasy, which in turn resulted in the weight loss that people have been noticing.

“I am aware I look ‘sick’ because I was sick,” Rachel added. “Please be mindful.”

It’s true that Rachel, from The Bachelor Nation, has been seen with a PICC line on her right arm in some of her recent Instagram photos. On July 7th, she shared an image of herself in a purple bikini, with her arm bandaged, and captioned it, “This is how I look while going through my current health situation.”

However, it seems that Rachel’s fight against her health issues is drawing to a close. She recently shared on Instagram Stories over the weekend that her PICC line has been taken out.

She mentioned that she’s been ill since prior to the start of summer, as reported by Us Weekly. It feels so liberating to be free from medication now!!!

In reality, Rachel mentioned that she’s scheduled to consult with a physician about restarting her plans for a revision in her 2023 breast reduction operation. This appointment is necessary because she had to delay the procedure over the summer due to a kidney infection.

“I’m so excited,” she wrote to her followers, “and will keep you all updated!!!”
