Starfield: Shattered Space Reveals New Details on Dazra City, Story, and More

As a seasoned space explorer with countless hours logged into various interstellar adventures, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming expansion of Starfield: Shattered Space! The tantalizing glimpse we’ve been given by Bethesda has me yearning to dive back into the vast cosmos of this captivating universe.

Apart from unveiling a fresh, complimentary update to the game featuring a land vehicle, Bethesda has also disclosed plans for Starfield’s inaugural paid expansion, titled Shattered Space, due out next month. In addition, more information about this expansion was shared, thanks to lead creative producer Tim Lamb who graced Xbox’s day one Gamescom livestream recently.

Most of the recently disclosed information by Lamb concerns Dazra, the primary city of House Va’ruun, where it has been verified that the expansion will predominantly unfold. The expansion will commence on a decaying space station, which will subsequently guide us to the concealed planet of House Va’ruun and the city of Dazra.

In the city of Dazra, you’ll encounter a place grappling with a devastating incident. Your main objective will be to solve this mystery. Along the way, you’ll interact with various minor houses belonging to House Va’ruun, and Lamb assures an abundance of decisions for you to make as the story unfolds, giving you plenty of room for choice-making.

In terms of Dazra, adventurers can anticipate discovering numerous hidden corners and undiscovered places. Not only that, but delving back into past locations to unveil secret spots will be an incentive too. Furthermore, you’ll traverse the surroundings of Dazra, and there are new weapons, equipment, items, and more to find. And let’s not forget that players can drive the Rev-8 vehicle across Va’ruun’kai – the name for the expansion’s freshly introduced planet.

Starfield: Shattered Space launches on September 30 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
