As a seasoned gamer with memories of late-night marathons spent battling the undead in classic survival horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, I can hardly contain my excitement for Post Trauma. The hauntingly beautiful environments and terrifying creatures teased in the latest gameplay trailer have me on the edge of my seat, eager to return to the genre that first sparked my love for gaming.
A good, classic survival horror experience isn’t something you can ever turn down, so it’s no surprise that Post Trauma has been generating the kind of excitement that it is. Developer Red Soul Games and publisher Raw Fury’s old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill inspired horror game has looked increasingly promising, and at the recent Future Games Show at Gamescom, its release date was revealed.
Initially scheduled for a Fall 2024 release, it’s now officially confirmed that the game “Post Trauma” will be launched on October 29. The latest gameplay trailer reveals the desolate, decaying settings players will traverse, along with various grotesque creatures they’ll encounter. Additionally, you can anticipate solving puzzles, managing your inventory, and other features, hinted at in the trailer as well. Take a look at it below.
Upon its release in October, Post Trauma will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
