The countdown has begun and every corner of my heart is pulsating with anticipation. The lineup they’ve announced so far promises a rollercoaster ride through the darkest recesses of our collective imagination, from the chilling classics like Halloween and Night of the Living Dead to modern terrors like Child’s Play and Hannibal.

The clock is ticking down to FearFest 2024! In anticipation of AMC’s annual Halloween programming, now in its 16th year set for October, AMC Networks unveiled their month-long Countdown to FearFest. Beginning in September, the AMC+ streaming service will showcase a horror movie collection that gets fans ready for the scary event – featuring famous horror figures such as Michael Myers, Chucky voiced by Brad Dourif, and the eerie creations of Stephen King.

As a lifelong horror enthusiast who has spent countless nights huddled under blankets while watching terrifying movies, I must say that AMC+’s Countdown to FearFest collection is an absolute dream come true. The lineup of original series and films, such as “Horror’s Greatest,” “The Demon Disorder,” “In a Violent Nature,” and “Oddity,” promises to deliver a thrilling and chilling experience that will keep me on the edge of my seat.

2019’s Child’s Play reboot will join other popular titles in our collection, including the first two seasons of the beloved Chucky TV series, the psychological thrillers Silence of the Lambs (from 1991) and Hannibal (starring Mads Mikkelsen as cannibal Hannibal Lecter), all three seasons of Hannibal, the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer, the chilling The Babadook, and a few more, such as Late Night with the Devil, the V/H/S franchise, Hell House LLC series, and the original 2022 Speak No Evil, brought to you by Shudder.
