Hello Kitty Goldfish Coming Back for 50th Anniversary

As a lifelong fan of both Hello Kitty and Goldfish crackers, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the return of the limited-edition Hello Kitty Strawberry Shortcake Flavored Grahams! I still remember the excitement when they were first released last year, only to sell out within minutes. It felt like a dream come true for us dedicated fans.

Enthusiasts of Hello Kitty and sweet snacks, brace yourselves: Goldfish is bringing back their limited-edition Hello Kitty Strawberry Shortcake Flavored Grahams! This week, Goldfish revealed that the flavor, introduced towards the end of last year to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, will be making a return. What’s more exciting is that this time around, these special treats will have a wider release, enabling fans across the globe to join in the festivities and mark Hello Kitty’s significant milestone in style.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for the latest treats that hit the shelves, and let me tell you, the Goldfish Hello Kitty Strawberry Shortcake Flavored Grahams are like a rare, coveted in-game item! They were snapped up faster than an epic loot drop when they first arrived, selling out in a mere 90 minutes. Ever since then, fans have been clamoring for them, and the wait is finally over! These sweet treats are making a comeback in September, retailing for around $3.69 per 6.1 oz bag. I can’t wait to get my hands on these tasty morsels!

Initially, the Grahams were labeled as drawing inspiration from one of Hello Kitty’s preferred snacks upon their debut. These Grahams are available in both the traditional Goldfish form and a shape reminiscent of Hello Kitty herself. Each crunchy bite offers a delightful blend of vanilla undertones and a touch of sweetness.

Hello Kitty Isn’t Actually A Cat

For over five decades, Hello Kitty has been a beloved character who’s brought happiness to countless individuals worldwide. However, it was recently clarified by anthropologist Christine R. Yano in an interview this year that contrary to popular belief, the cherished Sanrio character isn’t a cat as many have thought. Instead, Hello Kitty is actually depicted as a young girl.

“I was delighted when Sanrio clarified an important detail for my script – Hello Kitty isn’t actually a cat! Instead, she’s a beloved cartoon character who represents a little girl. She’s a cherished friend to many, but unlike most cats, she doesn’t walk or sit on all fours. Instead, she moves around like a bipedal creature. Interestingly, she does have her own pet cat named Charmmy Kitty.”

Goldfish crackers with flavors reminiscent of Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake are back temporarily in stores during September.
