As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for zombie-slaying escapades, I must admit that I was initially taken aback by the news of Frank West’s new voice actor in the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. However, upon delving into Jas Patrick’s impressive resume, filled with roles ranging from Octopath Traveler 2’s Partitio to the latest iteration of Rurouni Kenshin, I find myself pleasantly intrigued.
In the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Capcom has revealed that the character of Frank West will be given voice by actor Jas Patrick. Previously, it was confirmed that Terence J. Rotolo, who originally voiced Frank West, would not be returning to the role this time around.
In a chat with IGN during an interview, the crew responsible for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster expressed their satisfaction with the job they’d accomplished on this particular endeavor.
Over the course of his career, Patrick has lent his voice to numerous projects. These have ranged from providing the voice for Partitio in Octopath Traveler 2, to appearing in various anime productions such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and the more recent version of Rurouni Kenshin released in 2023.
The enhanced remastered version of “Dead Rising Deluxe”, which was announced in June, is set to arrive. This revamped release promises an overhaul of the original “Dead Rising”, boasting improved graphics and fresh voiceovers for multiple characters.
Players can choose different control layouts for the game, ranging from the traditional controls used in the initial version to those commonly found in contemporary third-person action titles.
Exciting news for all the zombie enthusiasts out there! I’m thrilled to share that the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is set to invade our gaming screens on September 19, appearing on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
