In the United States, the premiere of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” took place on AMC television on June 18, 2023 (Sunday). Notably, it has already secured a green light for a subsequent season.

For quite some time, there was no news about the UK release, but fortunately, on May 13th, things took a turn for the better when Sky and NOW made an agreement to broadcast several shows from The Walking Dead series lineup, including Dead City.

Lucy Criddle, Sky’s director for acquisitions and strategic projects, stated: “The fan base in the UK for The Walking Dead Universe is immense and passionate. We are certain that viewers on Sky and NOW will be thrilled to witness Rick Grimes and Michonne reunited in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Moreover, they’ll have the opportunity to delve into the broader universe, relishing all 11 seasons of the original The Walking Dead series, as well as upcoming spin-offs featuring Daryl Dixon and Dead City.”

In line with what Criddle stated, the original series returns next month, having premiered on May 19th, 2024, while another spin-off titled “The Ones Who Live” debuted on May 31st, 2024.
