As a seasoned gamer with years of galactic adventures under my belt, I must say that the trailer for Star Wars Outlaws has me thoroughly intrigued! With its open-world sci-fi action RPG setup and the promise of five planets to explore, it’s like a call back to the days when I was navigating the vast expanses of the Star Wars universe in my trusty X-Wing.
The second day of Xbox at Gamescom 2024 began with Massive Entertainment showcasing their open-world sci-fi action RPG, titled Star Wars Outlaws. The launch trailer revealed that the game centers around rogue character Kay Vess and his predicament involving shady dealings. Regrettably, his escape route involves executing the most daring heist in the Outer Rim system. You can watch it here below.
In “Star Wars Outlaws,” you’ll encounter five diverse planets and moons to explore, though not all will be accessible right away. Initially stranded on Toshara, your character regains their footing before the universe unfolds, offering ample opportunities for exploration. Here, you can choose to serve (and possibly betray) various Syndicates, assemble a team of unique Specialists, or partake in numerous World Events and spontaneous happenings that occur within each world.
On August 30th, the new game titled “Star Wars Outlaws” will be available to play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Players who are Gold or Ultimate members can start playing from August 27th.
