In this video, I’ll be sharing the screen with Jenna Ortega, who captivated us all as Wednesday in a previous role.
On August 21st, as I eagerly scrolled through Sabrina’s Instagram posts, my heart skipped a beat when I saw her latest clip. The enigmatic “Nonsense” singer, just 25, had set the stage with an intriguing display of weapons elegantly arranged on a luxurious pink bed. The scene transitioned to Sabrina, stylishly dressed in a blue top, black capris, and heels, striding into a magnificent mansion, knife in hand. As she climbed the grand staircase, her movements echoed those from Child’s Play, sending a shiver of excitement down my spine.
In due course, Sabrina enters a bathroom wearing an all-white outfit. She pulls aside a transparent curtain to find Jenna showering with another person, whose identity remains unknown. The 21-year-old displays a look of surprise and then fear before the scene abruptly ends, leaving us in darkness. Later on, Sabrina is seen looking at herself in a shiny blade, seemingly admiring her reflection.
As the introductory melody softly fills the room, my voice resonates with the lyrics, “Indeed, I tend to make a lasting impact.” (or “I’m known for leaving a strong impression.”)
Sabrina’s decision to work with her “Taste” co-star could be a subtle hint towards her Disney past, as both Sabrina and Jenna, who gained popularity through shows like “Girl Meets World” and “Stuck in the Middle” on Disney, have since ventured off the typical path established by their time at the children’s network.
