WWE’s Fallon Henley Possibly Injured

WWE's Fallon Henley Possibly Injured

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen his fair share of WWE action over the years, I must say the latest news about Fallon Henley‘s possible broken nose is a bit of a bummer. But hey, if she can finish a match with that, imagine what she could do in Mortal Kombat!

It seems that Fallon Henley, a well-known NXT Superstar, could have sustained an injury during a recent recording session, as per a report from Fightful’s Corey Brennan (via Fightful Select). The report suggests that Henley may have broken her nose. On August 20th, NXT recorded two episodes, and during the second taping, Henley teamed up with her Fatal Influence partner Jacy Jayne against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson from Meta-Four. Despite the apparent broken nose, Henley managed to complete the match. We wish Henley a speedy recovery and send our best wishes for her wellbeing.

Introducing Fatal Influence

WWE's Fallon Henley Possibly Injured

Last week, the new Women’s Division faction in NXT, consisting of Henley, Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx, was officially named Fatal Influence. Prior to this, Jayne and Nyx were already allies following Jayne’s time with Chase U. However, when Henley turned villainous and attacked Thea Hail during Spring Breakin’, a chance for collaboration presented itself.

Initially, Jayne and Nyx began offering assistance to Henley as their perspectives converged. Over time, this evolved into a fully-fledged group, albeit without an official name yet, over the past few weeks. Now that they’ve been formally introduced, the team is poised to make their presence known in the Title scene, once Henley has recovered completely from her injury.

A Powerhouse Trio

Fatal Influence aims to make their mark in the densely populated and exceptionally gifted NXT Women’s Division. Although Nyx is relatively new to NXT, both Henley and Jayne have previously held championship titles and have played roles ranging from good guys to bad guys. Henley’s transition to the villain role is more recent, as she has been a fan favorite since her debut; however, Jayne has predominantly portrayed one of the brand’s most formidable heels throughout her tenure there, particularly while working with Toxic Attraction.

Following the dissolution of the faction (triggered by Mandy Rose’s unexpected departure), Jayne temporarily switched her persona to a ‘face’, joining Chase U in the process. This phase allowed us to see another facet of her abilities, but she eventually reverted back to her ‘heel’ character after betraying Thea Hail and teaming up with Nyx.

As a gamer, I’m eagerly anticipating rejoining my teammates on a fresh adventure, hoping that Henley recovers swiftly so we can kickstart this journey at No Mercy. Right now, we don’t have a scheduled bout, but we might just shake things up there in some way or another – we’ll have to stay tuned to find out. Here’s the current lineup for NXT No Mercy, keep an eye out for us!
