Norwood has expressed her readiness to reprise her role, and recently shared an update with Entertainment Tonight.
Norwood playfully hinted at some rumors, saying, “I hope… I’m not sure how she would respond,” she continued. “I haven’t given it much thought yet, but I feel that she should return. I can’t wait to be a part of this horror journey!
In the film, it’s detailed that for pregnant Belinda (Brandy), life takes a turn for the worse when her mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter) moves in. As this troublesome houseguest attempts to seize control of the baby, Belinda is compelled to establish some boundaries… Alongside Andrew Burnap and Neal Huff, other actors also appear in the movie.
The Fron Room hits theaters on September 6th.
Who Stars in the I Know What You Did Last Summer Reboot?
In July, it was revealed that Camila Mendes (from Riverdale), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks), Tyriq Withers (Atlanta), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), and Sarah Pidgeon, who has been nominated for a Tony Award, are all in discussions to take part in an upcoming project. This forthcoming movie is scheduled to be helmed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who collaborated with Sam Lansky on the script. The screenplay was initially drafted by Leah McKendrick, and Neal Moritz, one of the original producers, will also produce this film.
The new I Know What You Did Last Summer currently has a release date of July 18, 2025.
