Bruce Campbell Has a Hilarious Response to the Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Bucket: “Let’s Send That One Back”

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that I’ve seen some out-of-the-box marketing strategies, but the popcorn buckets for movies like Deadpool & Wolverine have truly taken things to a new level!

As a long-time moviegoer and popcorn enthusiast, I must say that this year has been particularly exciting for me with the release of some truly innovative popcorn buckets. The souvenir sandworm bucket from AMC Theatres for Dune: Part Two was an absolute game changer, generating a flurry of online buzz and even inspiring a Saturday Night Live sketch. It seems that other movie studios are now scrambling to match or surpass this design.

Campbell pondered when presented with the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket. “I’m not a fan of this,” he commented, after giving it a closer look. “Well, Ryan Reynolds would find it amusing if you were sticking your fist into Hugh Jackman’s face, I suppose that’s the humor behind it.”

Campbell simply chose not to respond when Chris Killian from ComicBook suggested, “Perhaps it’s your first time.”

“This is wrong, AMC,” Campbell hilariously added, matter-of-factly. “Nice try. Nice, try. Let’s send that one back.”

In our conversation, we inquired about the absence of his character, Pizza Poppa, from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in the Deadpool & Wolverine series. As expected, his response to this query was quite amusing.

Campbell made clear that he doesn’t find them in the same timeframe. Instead, they are in different ones, he said. As for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, here’s a suggestion: “Maybe you should consider moving in together. Enough with the bonding! We get it. Moving on… back to your football team, Ryan.”
