Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Says Kody Is “Sabotaging” Their Marriage

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Says Kody Is “Sabotaging” Their Marriage

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience observing and analyzing complex family dynamics, I must say that the situation unfolding in the Brown family feels like a rollercoaster ride without end. The constant turmoil, betrayals, and separations depicted in the new season of Sister Wives are truly heart-wrenching, especially considering the unique nature of their multi-wife arrangement.

Kody Brown is facing marital discord once again.

In the recently unveiled trailer for season 19 of “Sister Wives,” which premiered on August 26, the star of TLC appears to be in conflict with his three former wives, namely Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown. His relationship with his remaining wife, Robyn Brown, also seems strained.

“They have all betrayed me!” a flustered Kody declares. “I am out of my mind.”

In her private conversation with the camera, Robyn expresses concern that Kody might be damaging their relationship by his actions.

As clips depicting Kody fiercely splitting firewood and recklessly cycling in Flagstaff, Arizona are shown, she added, “It seems I’m the one who was abandoned.”

Regarding his former partners, they seem uninterested in maintaining amicable relationships. Christine, who parted ways with Kody in 2021, expressed, “I have no intention of being cordial.”

In this scenario, the ex-spouses, namely Kody and Robyn, are encountering each other at an event resembling a gender-reveal party. They are joined by Kody and Christine’s daughter, Ysabel Brown, as well as Christine, who tied the knot with David Woolley in October 2023. Christine is seen standing there with a smile on her face, sipping coffee.

As for Janelle, who left Kody in 2022, she admits, “I don’t really miss him. It’s really a mess.”

In simpler terms, after Kody’s first wife Meri parted ways with him early in 2023 (as depicted in the season 18 finale), it appears she is choosing to disassociate from the Brown family entirely, expressing her desire for a complete separation by saying, “Let’s keep this totally apart.”

Over the last few years, I’ve been riding an emotional rollercoaster alongside the Brown family. The pandemic has brought about a whirlwind of differing perspectives on how to navigate it, leading to three of Kody’s four marriages hitting a rough patch. To make matters even more heart-wrenching, in March, we lost Kody and Janelle’s precious son, Garrison Brown, who tragically took his own life at the tender age of 25. It’s been an incredibly tough time for them, and my heart goes out to each one of them.

As per a statement from TLC, the untimely demise of Garrison will be showcased in an upcoming episode of their series. The show has been pre-recorded and is airing clips from mid-2023 at this point.

The nineteenth season of “Sister Wives” begins airing on Sunday, September 15th at 10 PM Eastern Time on TLC. The following day, it will be available to stream on HBO.
