Naruto Creator Masashi Kishimoto Is Eyeing a New Manga

As a long-time follower of Masashi Kishimoto‘s work and a devoted Naruto fan, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation whenever news about the creator’s new projects surfaces. Kishimoto has always been a master at weaving intricate narratives that captivate audiences worldwide, and his latest announcement is no exception.

Ever since 1997, I’ve been a consistent figure in the manga world, but it’s my work on Naruto that’s truly left an indelible mark. Back in 1999, I breathed life into this iconic series, and to this very day, it continues to flourish. Though I’m currently engrossed in creating the sequel to Naruto, I can’t help but look forward to new creative ventures.

Lately, at a fan gathering in France, Masashi Kishimoto and Boruto artist Mikio Ikemoto shared insights into Kishimoto’s new project. They fielded numerous questions about Naruto and their professional journeys. When inquired about his present life, Kishimoto confided that he is dedicating his efforts to two crucial aspects.

As a devoted family member, I find myself cherishing moments with my loved ones at this point in my life. Additionally, there might be a fresh opportunity on the horizon for my professional endeavors. – Kishimoto

It caught fans off guard when Kishimoto, who’s been silent about future work, suddenly made an announcement. Since 1999, Naruto has kept him busy, and his focus remains on the Hidden Leaf. Despite letting go of the IP in 2019, he continues to manage Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex with Ikemoto. For years now, Kishimoto has been deeply involved in the Naruto universe.

Kishimoto introduced a new manga titled “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” in Weekly Shonen Jump a few years ago, which was a science fiction series that received mixed feedback and concluded in March 2020. Ever since then, there has been no news regarding Kishimoto’s future projects. Fans are excited to see what other creations the artist will come up with now that Naruto has ended. With so many finales vying for space in Weekly Shonen Jump, the magazine is in dire need of a new blockbuster series to keep up with the competition.

If you haven’t encountered the legendary series, ‘Naruto’, it’s quite simple to locate. The original manga and its sequels are all available within Viz Media’s Shonen Jump app. For comprehensive details about ‘Naruto’, here is a summary of its official synopsis:
