Watch: WWE NXT’s Noam Dar Uses Oasis’s “Morning Glory” For Indie Entrance Theme

As a gamer with a deep-rooted passion for both music and wrestling, I can’t help but feel like I’ve struck gold with this piece of news! The reunion of Oasis, one of the most iconic rock bands of my generation, is an event that has sent ripples of excitement through the pop culture landscape.

Oasis, the iconic British rock band consisting of Liam and Noel Gallagher, have announced their reunion for a UK concert tour in Summer 2025. This marks an end to their split that has lasted for over a decade. Known for shaping the Britpop genre, Oasis garnered widespread critical acclaim and fan affection during the ’90s and early ’00s with hits like “Champagne Supernova” and “Wonderwall.” Their music left an indelible mark on pop culture, even influencing professional wrestling, as one of their songs was once used as a theme for a WWE superstar.

Noam Dar Utilized Oasis’s “Morning Glory” Before WWE

Noam Dar needs a little time to wake up.

Prior to joining WWE in 2016, Noam Dar gained recognition on the UK independent wrestling scene. He particularly thrived in PROGRESS Wrestling, participating in their inaugural event and frequently returning over a three-year span. During this time, he often used Oasis’s “Morning Glory” as his entrance theme.

In this instance, Dar made an entrance during PROGRESS Chapter 14: THUNDERBASTARD, blending parts of Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?” with the subsequent playing of Oasis’s “Morning Glory.”

In that 2016 interview, Dar stated unequivocally that Liam was his top choice when asked about who between the Oasis duo would excel in professional wrestling. He even extended an invitation for Liam to reach out if he fancied becoming Dar’s tag-team partner in WWE, promising a fun time together.

Currently, Dar is part of the WWE NXT team, where he heads up a group known as Meta-Four, which includes Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, and Oro Mensah. When Dar first joined the US-based NXT, it was after he had won the NXT Heritage Cup, a distinctive honor that he managed to hold on three different occasions.

Earlier in his career, Dar was a participant in the WWE Cruiserweight division, which no longer exists. He made his debut in the premier tournament for this division, known as the WWE Cruiserweight Classic held in 2016, where he reached the quarter-finals before being defeated by Zack Sabre Jr. Subsequently, Dar wrestled on Monday Night Raw as part of the cruiserweight division and then moved to NXT UK when the brand started airing weekly television, challenging Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship in the very first episode of NXT UK TV.
