The White Lotus Star Aubrey Plaza Reveals Hilarious Reason She Hasn't Watched the Series Yet

As a fan who’s had more than a fair share of run-ins with technology, I find Aubrey Plaza’s confession about not being able to watch her own performance in “The White Lotus” season 2 utterly relatable. It seems that even stars as brilliant as she are no match for the complexities of modern streaming platforms!

For the past two seasons, “The White Lotus” has served up a captivating and unexpected drama for HBO viewers. Both seasons boast an extensive cast, including Aubrey Plaza, who graced our screens in the second season as Harper Spiller. Viewers have been enamored with Plaza’s portrayal in “The White Lotus” – however, surprisingly, she hasn’t had a chance to watch her own episodes because she can’t seem to figure out how to log into her Max account to stream the show. In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Plaza disclosed this peculiar predicament.

Plaza admitted, “I haven’t managed to yet, but I plan to, as I faced challenges with my HBO Max account initially. To be frank, I couldn’t crack the password and typically throw in the towel when I can’t decipher passwords. It’s just too frustrating for me dealing with such issues.”

“I’d love a DVD, but they don’t send DVD sets anymore,” Plaza added. “I ask them every time.”

What Is The White Lotus Season 3 About?

For the upcoming third season of The White Lotus, which is set in Thailand, the following actors have been confirmed for the cast: Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Lisa, Scott Glenn, Tayme Thapthimthong, Julian Kostov, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris. Natasha Rothwell will be reprising her role as Belinda Lindsey from the first season of The White Lotus.

Mike White shared his thoughts shortly after Season 2’s end, stating that the first season primarily focused on money. He then hinted that the second season delved into sexual themes, and he envisioned the third season as a humorous exploration of death, Eastern philosophies, and spirituality. It seems like there’s potential for another layered narrative at White Lotus with these topics.

Will The White Lotus Get a Season 4?

In an earlier conversation with Variety, HBO’s head Casey Bloys mentioned that the future of “The White Lotus” for additional seasons hinges on the creative desires of its creator.

As a gamer, I’m privy to the fact that Mike is bursting with creative ideas for the game’s direction. It’s a stroke of luck being in cahoots with him. Not only do we have actors clamoring to join our team because it’s an exceptional platform and the writing is top-notch, but as long as he’s on board, we’re ready to embark on this exciting journey. He’s essentially crafted a captivating blueprint that allows us to draw talent from various corners of the globe, creating a dynamic, ever-evolving cast.
