In a land where humans and Saurians coexist, an extraordinary journey lies ahead, beyond the blazing hearths and the enigmatic world shrouded by darkness.

◇ New Locations: Beginning with Version 5.0, the following regions within Natlan will be accessible: Tequemecan Valley, Coatepec Mountain, Toyac Springs, and Basin of Endless Flames.

∗ Finishing the “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” Archon Quest Prologue: Act III will, on its own, grant me a new Teleportation Spot to the right of Tequemecan Valley in Natlan (if I’ve already completed this Archon Quest, the Teleport Spot will become available following an update). Once activated, I can teleport directly to Natlan using this spot. Additionally, I’ll earn Primogems as a reward upon unlocking this Teleportation Spot.

Once a tribe achieves the maximum reputation level, extra rewards become available from the “Speaker’s Chamber.”

In addition to new adventures and tasks, Natlan will offer fresh content as well. If certain achievements for a Quest within a Commission in Natlan haven’t been unlocked yet, there’s a higher chance that commission quest will show up more frequently.

5-Star Character “Splish-Splash Wavechaser” Mualani (Hydro)

◇ Vision: Hydro

◇ Weapon: Catalyst

◇ An established expert on water sports in the town of Natlan, who runs a business specializing in various wave-riding activities.

◆ Elemental Skill: Surfshark Wavebreaker

◆ Mualani assumes a surfing position, able to navigate effortlessly across solid ground, water, and the unusual substance Phlogiston. In this stance, Mualani tags adversaries as “Prey” upon collision, accumulating Wave Momentum. With this momentum, her regular attacks transform into Sharky’s Bites, and she can use Wave Momentum to boost the damage of these bites. When Mualani has amassed three stacks of Wave Momentum, a successful Sharky’s Bite on an enemy also triggers a volley of Shark Missiles towards nearby enemies marked as “Prey.”

◆ Elemental Burst: Boomsharka-laka

◆ Fires a Super Shark Missile that can deal AoE Hydro DMG.

5-Star Character “Turnfire Hunt” Kinich (Dendro)

◇ Vision: Dendro

◇ Weapon: Claymore

◇ A Huitztlan Saurian Hunter skilled at counting costs.

◆ Elemental Skill: Canopy Hunter: Riding High

◆ Kinich has the ability to soar through the air with a grappling hook. Upon striking an enemy, the grappling hook will latch on, allowing Kinich to launch Loop Shots. When Nightsoul’s points are at their highest, he can unleash his Elemental Skill, firing a potent “Scalespiker Cannon” that inflicts Dendro damage onto enemies.

◆ Elemental Burst: Hail to the Almighty Dragonlord

◆ The Almighty Dragonlord, K’uhul Ajaw, harnesses his power and periodically unleashes a sweeping breath of Dendro damage.

4-Star Character “Mottled Gold Yet Unsmelted” Kachina (Geo)

◇ Vision: Geo

◇ Weapon: Polearm

◇ Born among the Nanatzcayan tribe, she is known as “Uthabiti,” a young warrior endowed with compassion and unyielding determination. With every challenge she encounters, her strength and abilities continue to grow.

◆ Elemental Skill: Go, Go Turbo Twirly!

◆ Join forces with Turbo Twirly! Kachina can hop on Turbo Twirly for quick movements, scaling heights, and attacking foes powerfully, while also calling upon it autonomously to inflict sustained damage.

◆ Elemental Burst: Time to Get Serious!

As a gamer, I’m able to unleash a whirlwind of power with my Turbo Drill Field! This bad boy not only boosts the attack area of Turbo Twirly but also cranks up its speed while I’m on board, making us an unstoppable force in the game world.

III. New Domain

Domain of Forgery: Ancient Watchtower

It is said that mighty creatures inhabited the earth in ancient times, and they constructed these buildings as a means to see further into the world. However, these intelligent beings are believed to be extinct, leaving us uncertain about the real reason behind this location.

◇ Unlock Criteria (satisfy any one of the criteria below to unlock):

• Adventure Rank 10 or above

Embarked on the “Knights of Favonius” Archon Quest Prologue: Act I, entitled “The Outlander Who Caught the Wind,” here I am!

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain Weapon Ascension Materials.

Domain of Mastery: Blazing Ruins

In that period, before humanity fully grasped the essence of fire, wise individuals from every part of the globe contemplated its enigma and endeavored to decipher its secrets. These ruins are believed to be remnants of a circular ceremonial ground where these sages practiced their rituals aimed at refining phlogiston. Legends tell that some of the brave souls who followed the great one into the volcano’s heart had once studied here.

◇ Unlock Criteria (satisfy any one of the criteria below to unlock):

Finish “Knights of Favonius” in the initial act of the Archon Quest Prologue titled “The Traveler Who Embraced the Wind”.

Over time, these powers were not only utilized for defending against common adversaries but also became weapons in tribal conflicts. This grim reality saddened the Sage of the Stolen Flame, who chose to depart from the world, fading from numerous narratives. The once meaningful training grounds now lay abandoned, along with tales that were gradually forgotten…

IV. New Equipment

1. New Weapons (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)

Surf’s Up (5-Star Catalyst)

Max HP increased by 20%. Once every 15s, for the 14s after using an Elemental Skill: Gain 4 Scorching Summer stacks. Each stack increases Normal Attack DMG by 12%. For the duration of the effect, once every 1.5s, lose 1 stack after a Normal Attack hits an opponent; once every 1.5s, gain 1 stack after triggering a Vaporize reaction on an opponent. Max 4 Scorching Summer stacks.

At the “Epitome Invocation” occasion, there’ll be a significant increase in the chances of obtaining the unique 5-star weapon, Surf’s Up (Catalyst)!

Fang of the Mountain King (5-Star Claymore)

As a gamer, I pick up one stack of Canopy’s Favor each time I land a hit with my Elemental Skill against an opponent. This ability can be activated once every half second. When a party member nearby sets off a Burning or Burgeon reaction, my character will accumulate 3 stacks of this benefit. This effect can be triggered once every two seconds and it works even if the activating party member is not on the field. Canopy’s Favor: Using my Elemental Skill and Burst abilities becomes 10% more potent for six seconds when I have this buff active, with a maximum of six stacks. Each stack operates independently.

At the “Epitome Invocation” gathering, there’s a significant increase in the chances of obtaining the unique 5-star sword, “Fang of the Mountain King (Claymore)”!

Ash-Graven Drinking Horn (4-Star Catalyst)

Whenever you strike an enemy, unleash Area-of-Effect damage that amounts to 40% of their maximum health at the current spot. This ability can only be activated once every 15 seconds.

The “Ash-Carved Drinking Horn” (Catalyst) and its necessary components for refining can be exchanged during the “Traces of Creativity” event.

▌Forgeable Weapons

Flute of Ezpitzal (4-Star Sword)

Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15s.

Earth Shaker (4-Star Claymore)

When a party member sets off a Pyro-linked event, the character using an Elemental Skill sees their damage increase by 16% over a duration of 8 seconds. This boost can occur regardless of whether the initiating party member is currently in the battlefield.

Footprint of the Rainbow (4-Star Polearm)

Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15s.

Ring of Yaxche (4-Star Catalyst)

With an Elemental Skill active, the Jade-Forged Crown effect is triggered: Every 1,000 points in your Maximum Health contributes to a 0.6% increase in the Normal Attack damage dealt by your character for 10 seconds. The maximum boost to Normal Attack damage through this method is 16%.

Chain Breaker (4-Star Bow)

For each party member hailing from Natlan or having a unique Elemental Type compared to the character currently equipped, that character experiences an enhancement in Attack by 4.8%. When there are at least three such distinct characters in the party, the equipped character receives a boost of 24 points to its Elemental Mastery.

In the Temple of Pax’s Stadium of the Sacred Flame, you can trade specific materials with Alom to obtain Weapon Forging Blueprints.

2. New Artifacts

Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City (4–5 Stars)

2-Piece Bonus: A fellow team member activating “Nightsoul Burst” allows the equipped character to restore 6 Energy points.

4-Piece Set: When a party member using an Elemental Type triggers a connected event, nearby allies receive a 12% boost in damage for the associated Elemental Types for 15 seconds. If the activating character is under Nightsoul’s Blessing at that moment, the bonus increases to 40% (28% + 12%) for those same Elemental Types for 20 seconds instead. This effect can be triggered even when the character is not on the field, and bonuses from other sets with the same name do not accumulate.

Obsidian Codex (4–5 Stars)

2-Piece Bonus: When a character is utilizing Nightsoul’s Blessing and is active on the field, they will experience a 15% boost in damage they deal.

4-Piece Bonus: When your character uses a Night Soul point on the battlefield, their Critical Hit Rate boosts by 40% for 6 seconds. This bonus can activate every second.

3. New World Quests

New World Quests

1. “Quest Series: Walking in the Footsteps of Dragon’s Chosen”

VI. New Enemies

Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant

A Qucusaurus, whose unique shape is due to its inherent vulnerability from the immense strength it’s been endowed with.

During battle, this creature soars upwards, transforming into its “Golden Flame” energy-absorbing phase, forming a protective barrier around itself. It then unleashes a “Flamewind Feather” attack, which summons a gust of flame towards the ground. If the Flamewind Feather isn’t destroyed before the Qucusaurus descends into it, the creature will utilize a Phlogiston Current to regain flight. This cycle continues until it runs out of energy and reverts back to its normal form.

Located at Basin of Unnumbered Flames

Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King

◇ A powerful Yumkasaurus that has experienced numerous impressive battles.

In battle, it will gather Firefruits (Flamegranates) and hurl them as explosives. But if you manage to set fire to the Firefruits before the Ravenous Yumka-Mountain-King (Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King) can eat them, all sorts of unexpected events could ensue…

Located at Tequemecan Valley

Wayob Manifestation

1. “Wayob’s Cave-Like Emergence” – This paraphrase keeps the original phrase’s structure but uses more common language to describe the location of the manifestation, replacing “Rock-Cavernous” with “cave-like”.

◇ The totem figures carved from obsidian, which are revered by different Natlan tribes, represent the deities that the tribes worship called Wayob.

In combat, the Wayob Manifestation sets up its Trial Grounds, which intensifies the fight and temporarily fortifies itself by collecting the elemental powers of all participating characters. This enhancement causes significant damage to be dealt by characters within the area. If the shield surrounding the Manifestation crumbles before the Trial Grounds vanish, these characters will also receive a considerable energy boost. However, if they are unable to shatter the shield, the Manifestation will erect a barrier proportional to the remaining strength of its elemental defense.

Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker

“Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker”

◇ An ancient mechanical creation that wanders Natlan to this day, though its function is not known.

As a dedicated fan, I find myself in awe when characters activate the Nightsoul’s Blessing, triggering the Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker’s Adaptive Countermeasures. After these defensive strategies have been executed, the automaton prepares to launch its unique cluster laser. Remember, every situation presents both risk and reward. This moment might just be your chance to inflict massive damage upon it!

Avatars of Lava

“Fluid Avatar of Lava” and “Eroding Avatar of Lava”

◇ A strange monster that must continually absorb heat to stay in an active state.

As I unleash my Pyro attacks, pushing this enemy into an Overburn state, it appears that it starts to self-destruct if I overdo it. Once it’s fully engulfed, it quickly falls apart and disappears.

Natlan Saurians

1. “Little Koholasaurs,” “Little Tepetlisaurs,” “Little Yumkasaurs,” “Hatchling Koholasaurus,” “Hatchling Tepetlisaurus,” and “Hatchling Yumkasaurus.”

◇ The Saurians that inhabit the land of Natlan.

Dragons with exceptional ability to adjust to diverse settings, capable of assuming various shapes and forms contingent upon their specific habitats.

Sauroform Tribal Warriors

1. “Agile Blade Fighter” (for “Flowing Blade Skirmisher”)

◇ The warriors of Natlan’s great tribes who fight for the honor and glory of their people.

Through decades spent cohabiting and battling together with their reptilian allies, these tribal fighters have progressively adopted their characteristics and mastered ways to utilize them effectively in combat scenarios.

Obtainable through completing the quests under “Adventurer Handbook > Experience”, you’ll find a gadget known as the “Artifact Transmuter”. This device is useful for extracting and redeeming Artifacts.

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve just discovered a fresh way to boost my gameplay! Introducing the “Artifact Transmuter” – this magical device allows me to trade in my enhanced 5-star Artifacts (level +4 or higher) and transform them into precious “Sanctifying Elixirs”. One Artifact gets you one Elixir, per version. But that’s not all! You can also stumble upon these elusive Sanctifying Elixirs while exploring the vast open world. It’s like finding a secret treasure chest!

In simpler terms, to swap out specific parts of certain Artifact sets, utilize the “Sanctifying Elixir” within the “Artifact Transmuter.” Additionally, you’ll be able to specify the Main Affix and two Minor Affixes. Note that every set of Artifacts can only be swapped once per version, as different components require varying amounts of “Sanctifying Elixir.”

Introduces a fresh event titled “Turbo Twirly”: Advance in Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I “Flowers Radiant on the Sun-Baked Journey” and extend an invitation to the character “Kachina, Unrefined Gold with Mottled Hues” (Geo).

As a devoted Traveler, when I hit Adventure Rank 58, I can take on World Level Ascension Quests. Once completed, my World Level will rise, making monsters and bosses more challenging with increased rewards to match. Those who reached Adventure Rank 58 before the update can still complete these quests post-update to boost their World Level!

Adds the Borderland Billet series.

In the “Conversion” section of your Crafting Bench, you can now use Dream Solvent to transform Billet items of different weapon types into Borderland Billets of the same weapon category, or alternatively, swap Borderland Billets into other Billet items of the same weapon type.

8 new groups of Artifacts have been incorporated into the Mystic Offering system for trading: The Artifact Chest labeled “Deepwood Memories”, the “Gilded Dreams” Artifact Chest, the “Desert Pavilion Chronicle” Artifact Chest, the “Flower of Paradise Lost” Artifact Chest, the “Nymph’s Dream” Artifact Chest, the “Vourukasha’s Glow” Artifact Chest, the “Marechaussee Hunter” Artifact Chest, and the “Golden Troupe” Artifact Chest.

● Serenitea Pot

Boosts the capacity limitations in both indoor and outdoor spaces within the Serenitea Pot, enforced by new, more rigorous optimization techniques aimed at enhanced performance.

● Exploration

Navigating to “Go to collect” located under the “Source” for regional specialties will now lead you to an interactive global map, showing the locations where you can gather the associated specialty.

Before hitting the maximum Stamina cap, players can boost their Stamina by upgrading any region’s Statue of The Seven. This means that players no longer have to fully upgrade the Statues of The Seven in Mondstadt and Liyue to reach the maximum Stamina limit. After the update, if a player has already leveled up the Statues of The Seven in regions other than Mondstadt and Liyue, they will receive an additional Stamina bonus accordingly.

Alter the challenge level when facing “Ruin Hunters” in the World Quest “Nine Pillars of Peace.” Notably, lower the challenge level substantially for World Levels 1 and 2.

● Shop

Introduces “Crown of Insight” to the “Starglitter Exchange” section within “Paimon’s Bargains” in the “Shop”, available for 50 units of Starglitter and refreshed every month.

The “Mystic Enhancement Ore” stock has been made freely interchangeable in the section “Shop” -> “Paimon’s Bargains” -> “Stardust Exchange”. You can access this after swapping your current “Mystic Enhancement Ores”.

● Crafting and Forging

In the “Forging” system, it’s now possible to include twice as many items in a single queue for Weapon Enhancement Materials. For instance, one queue can now process Mystic Enhancement Ore up to 10 units, compared to the previous limit of 5 units (the daily crafting cap remains the same).

In the “Forging” interface, it automatically chooses the highest amount as the default option when you pick Weapon Enhancement Materials to craft.

Now, when you’re making “Condensed Resin” at your Crafting Station, the system will automatically choose the optimal number of tries for you, considering the quantity of both “Original Resin” and “Condensed Resin” left in your inventory. Additionally, the confirmation prompt has been eliminated from the process.

When you opt to create “Compacted Resin” at your Workbench, the quantity of “Compacted Resin” you have in your Inventory will now be shown in the upper-right corner of your user interface.

● Enhancement

Decreases the occurrence of the “Character Leveling EXP Overflow Notice”: If the experience points (EXP) overflow is less than 1,000 (which cannot be refunded), the notice will no longer pop up.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the annoying EXP overflow alert during weapon enhancements is now transformed into a simple text message. No more disruptive pop-ups to interrupt my gaming flow!
