As a seasoned Teyvat explorer with countless hours spent traversing its breathtaking landscapes and battling formidable foes, I can confidently say that the Local Legends of Natlan present quite the challenge for even the most experienced adventurers like myself!
In Natlan, there are four distinct Local Legends to encounter, excluding the unique obsidian totem pole structures that will be addressed separately in a different guide. Overcoming these Local Legends not only offers a rewarding experience but also grants you the accomplishments associated with Duelist: Series I.

Location of All Local Legends in Natlan
1) Polychrome Tri-Stars
Move to the designated spot on Huitztli Hill as your marker, then proceed southwest, crossing the water expanse. There you’ll encounter three formidable Fatui adversaries. Much like other Local Legends, their attack power is impressive. Upon defeat of one, they will retaliate by creating an elemental field that inflicts ongoing damage on your character.
2) “Japu Amidst the Waves”
Travel to the Talent Domain within Natlan, then veer northwest. You’ll eventually spot a solitary Natlan foe near a large rock. This encounter should be less challenging compared to your last one.
3) “Barachico”
Travel to the Realm of the Prismatic Guardians (an artifact location) and navigate southwest, where you’ll encounter a barricaded entrance. Legends of this place hint that a secret lies within the enclosed area, and you’ll need to discover two keys to unlock it.
The first key can be seen inside the cage just in front of the locked gate.
As a gamer, I found the second key dangling from a rope, right next to the locked gate. I scaled the nearby box to grab the glinting item on the rope. With both keys in my inventory, I unlocked the door and followed the red shadowy figure towards the Fatui Pyro Agent.
This character is risky because his influence seems to be omnipresent, and you must watch out for attacks from multiple angles. The wisest course of action would be to eliminate those influences (by challenging them) so you won’t have to deal with as many attacks coming at you.
4) Cosijo
Travel to Ameyalco Waters’ Statue of the Seven and proceed southeast towards the arena near the shoreline. At present, no foes are present because you must first eliminate all the Electro Crystals using Pyro abilities. Once some crystals have been destroyed, Electro Slimes will appear; however, they are not the Local Legend.
In this area, there’s a legend about an electric turtle that strengthens its Electrical Barrier during combat. For optimal results, it’s advisable to employ a Fire, Ice, or Plant-based team, as they are particularly effective in breaking down the Electrical Barrier.
When it begins to spin, it’s wiser to keep a safe distance since the harm it could cause while spinning is quite alarming. Simply wait for it to stop spinning before getting close to it again.
