Having journeyed through the depths of oceanic realms in games past, I find myself drawn to the lush, vibrant vistas that this game promises.

After being announced earlier in the year, “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” attracted a good number of fans due to its promise of a visually stunning, AAA turn-based RPG experience reminiscent of the classics. Now, developer Sandfall Interactive has given us another detailed glimpse into the game.

Approximately six minutes of fresh gameplay video has been unveiled, featuring our protagonists, known as Expedition 33, navigating an enchanting underwater landscape as they strive to vanquish the Paintress. The captivating scenery is complemented by glimpses of the game’s engaging turn-based battle system, drawing inspiration from popular titles such as Persona (with its stylish user interface and menus) and Paper Mario (incorporating quick-time event-style real-time prompts in addition to traditional turn-based combat).
