As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of virtual wrestling and live events, I can confidently say that tonight’s AEW Dynamite was nothing short of electrifying! The debut of Ricochet was nothing less than spectacular, showcasing his incredible agility and acrobatic prowess.
Following a sensational debut at All In, Ricochet made his much-anticipated TV premiere on tonight’s Dynamite. In the ring for this debut was Kyle Fletcher, and together they delivered an exhilarating match that highlighted their abilities. Initially, Ricochet took the lead, but Fletcher demonstrated why he is so respected in AEW and Ring of Honor, keeping Ricochet in a tight spot for a considerable time. However, Ricochet managed to reverse the situation and secure the victory in his debut shortly afterwards. This was followed by an encounter with his longtime friend Will Ospreay, a match many have been eagerly waiting for in the AEW ring. Unfortunately, PAC disrupted their reunion as he will face Ospreay at All Out.
A Dynamite Debut
In a quick succession, Ricochet and Fletcher pushed each other, but it was Fletcher who managed to push Ricochet to the ground. However, Ricochet swiftly stood up again. With incredible agility, Ricochet leapt back onto his feet and showcased an impressive series of acrobatics that left Fletcher struggling to keep up. Fletcher made his way to the edge and delivered a punch that knocked Ricochet unconscious. To add insult to injury, he followed with a powerful kick to Ricochet’s face, sending him flying over the barricade.
In another attempt, Fletcher aimed to repeat his action, but this time Ricochet executed a colossal Meteora from the barricade, knocking Fletcher to the ground. Ricochet subsequently maneuvered Fletcher back into the ring and pinned him down on the mat before making an attempt at a pin, yet Ricochet managed to avoid it even before the one-count began. Fletcher overpowered Ricochet once more, taking a moment to engage in crowd banter before delivering a resounding chop to Ricochet’s torso.
In the corner, Fletcher grabbed Ricochet for another strike, followed by slamming Ricochet into the turnbuckle forcefully, causing him to fall to the ground. Fletcher attempted a punch, but Ricochet retaliated with a kick aimed at Fletcher’s leg. However, Fletcher swiftly reversed the move and executed a slam that sent Ricochet face-first onto the mat. Ricochet managed to roll away from the pin, and Fletcher hoisted him up. In response, Ricochet toppled Fletcher with a headset strike. Ricochet followed up with a massive springboard clothesline, sending Fletcher crashing to the mat.
In a swift sequence of moves, Ricochet executed a series of blows, including a springboard back elbow that sent Fletcher crashing into the turnbuckle. This was followed by an enziguri, a northern lights suplex, and an impressive slam to the mat. Ricochet attempted a shooting star press for a pin, but Fletcher managed to kick out before the count of two. Ricochet unleashed a powerful chop, which he followed with two more chops and a lariat. However, Fletcher retaliated with a lariat of his own and didn’t make an attempt for a pin.
A Thrilling Reunion
In the heat of the game, instead of landing an elbow shot, I found myself getting sent flying after a hard-hitting dropkick. Spotting me down, Ricochet leaped out, aiming to slam me into the barrier. He climbed up high, but I managed to get my boots up in time and kicked him back to the corner. A powerful slam followed by a pin attempt, but I somehow managed to kick out. I retaliated with a knee strike and two brutal kicks, but Ricochet gracefully stayed on his feet and countered with a series of his own.
As Ricochet rejoiced, Will Osprey emerged to converse with his comrade, only to be swept aside by PAC on the ramp. PAC then reminded Osprey not to forget him, before turning his attention to Ricochet. He warmly welcomed Ricochet to AEW and advised him to take his place in line like everyone else. PAC asserted his claim over Osprey by saying, “This one is mine.” Seeing Osprey in distress, Ricochet checked on him, and it appears a match between the two may not be far off.
