As a follower, I’m excited to share that the gripping Paramount Plus spy thriller, Special Ops: Lioness, crafted by Taylor Sheridan of Yellowstone fame, who drew inspiration from a real US Military program, will return for another season soon on our screens.
In this series, Marvel’s Zoe Saldaña plays the role of Joe, a CIA agent leading the “Lioness” program. This covert mission involves women operatives cultivating connections with the spouses and offspring of prominent terrorists, gathering intelligence and preventing imminent threats.
As I sat down with TopMob magazine ahead of the upcoming season, I found myself drawing striking parallels between my own life and the character I play, Joe. Both of us are fully committed to our respective endeavors, and we both juggle the challenges of maintaining a family life while shouldering immense responsibilities. It’s as if the writers have tapped into something deep within me!

Special Ops: Lioness season 2 release date – When can I watch it?
On Sunday, 27th October, you’ll be able to stream the initial two episodes of Lioness season 2 on Paramount Plus, both within the United States and globally.
The upcoming release follows the triumphant initial broadcast, during which the debut episode of season 1 held the record for the most-viewed premiere on the platform at the given moment.
According to Chris McCarthy, CEO of Paramount Media Networks, “Special Ops: Lioness” has become the top-rated new scripted series on cable this year and is among the highest-performing shows ever on Paramount Plus.
