For those who missed these events, this trailer provides an enhanced glimpse into the projects like Thunderbolts, Captain America: Brave New World, and Daredevil: Born Again that Marvel Studios has planned for 2025 and beyond. Last but not least, I got a glimpse at the next Disney+ series Agatha All Along. It’s an exhilarating time to be a Marvel fan!

Thunderbolts* trailer description from SDCC

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the ComicBook’s Phase Zero podcast got to witness an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming Thunderbolts project, and they’ve provided a recap of what they saw for your viewing pleasure. Here is their account of the footage that was screened:

Yelena raps on Alexei’s door. Inside, he’s lounging carelessly on the couch, hurriedly tidying up his space and himself before answering, but it remains quite disorganized. He insists he’s making progress and putting in a lot of effort, yet it’s evident he’s not telling the truth. He enquires about her visit. “I have a problem,” she admits.

1. Bucky steps into a courtroom. US Agent peruses news articles concerning him. In a manner evocative of Black Widow’s fight in Iron Man 2, Yelena engages in a confrontation in the hallway. She explores a room, uncovers diagrams, and is targeted by US Agent. Ghost intervenes to protect Yelena while another adversary supports US Agent. A figure identified as “Bob” appears in the room dressed in a hospital robe. The room subsequently seals its doors.

Yelena openly admits she’s an assassin and believes someone aims to eliminate them all. The room suddenly feels like an oven. When they approach the display case holding Loki’s scepter, Bucky appears uneasy at the sight of Valentina. He then activates his Vibranium prosthesis.

Music makes the whole movie feel a bit delirious. Dark color tones make the movie feel gritty. There is a scene in what might be Avengers Tower.
