The depth and breadth of activities offered in this game are truly remarkable. Who would have thought that laundry and cleaning could be so engaging?
The recently revealed Atlus Showcase for the game “Metaphor: ReFantazio,” featuring director Katsura Hasino, has been released, providing a wealth of fresh details about the travel element in the game. As players embark on their adventure, they will initially choose their destination using the Gauntlet Runner, and can select different locations from the world map.
On the Gauntlet Runner, you can engage in various tasks such as reading, doing laundry (where resources are discovered), preparing meals (useful for crafting special items), and cleaning (boosting your maximum HP). Interacting with your companions also increases your Virtues, which are crucial for successful dialogue with NPCs and gaining the support of allies.
On your journey to your destination, feel free to drop by nearby villages for a chance to find items that could be useful for your ally Neuras, the Gauntlet Runner pilot. This action will grant you access to the Gunner Archetype, which is demonstrated in a side quest location called the Man-Eater’s Grotto. If you don’t manage to finish this dungeon in one day, don’t worry! You can either return to the base town or choose to camp outside and attempt it the next day.
For the very first time, an intriguing main dungeon appears, leading players into the vast interior of a humongous worm. The objective is to find a way out before the time runs out, or else face being digested. Hashino hinted that the game offers numerous captivating fantasy dungeons, ranging from grand to minute, for players to explore and immerse themselves in.
On October 11th, the imaginative game, ReFantazio, will be unveiled on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. Keep an eye out for further updates in no time!
