The much-anticipated game, “Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown”, is about to hit the shelves in just a few weeks, bringing an end to series enthusiasts’ years-long anticipation for a fresh instalment. While it appears that the game will boast a wealth of content upon its initial release, the live service racer promises to continually expand its offerings post-launch. In a recently shared video, Nacon and KT Racing have shed more light on these future additions.
The initial post-launch season for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will become available on its release date, featuring a complimentary Solar Pass (equivalent to the battle pass), allowing players to advance up to 60 levels and 50 clan levels. Additionally, a free Solar Pass is also promised for Season 2, set to debut in December.
In Season 2, players can expect a fresh map modeled after Ibiza, a location well-known to fans of “Test Drive Unlimited 2”. The island will be reproduced in its entirety, offering new incentives, cards, and 20 additional clan levels, as well as other exciting additions.
In March, Season 3 is set to debut, introducing a significant feature called Clan War. As the title indicates, this mode will pit Streets and Sharps against one another in a struggle for dominance across both the main map of Hong Kong and an extra map of Ibiza. Additionally, there will be 30 new levels for clan progression added to the game.
To wrap up Year 1, Season 4 of the open-world racer is set to debut in June. This marks the return of Test Drive Unlimited 2’s casino, allowing players to gamble with virtual currency.
