Astro Bot Reviews Will Go Live on September 5th

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for innovative platformers and a deep love for the Astro Bot series, I must say, September 6th can’t come soon enough! Having traversed the vibrant worlds of Astro’s Playroom and Rescue Mission, I eagerly await the next chapter in our little robot’s journey.

For PS5 owners, the highlight of September is undeniably September 6th, as it marks the debut of Team Asobi’s innovative game, Astro Bot. If you’re eagerly waiting for reviews, they’ll be published on September 5th at 5 AM PDT. This information was first shared by Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming via Twitter, and has since been confirmed by Jordan Middler from VGC, along with an image of the game’s start screen.

In other words, “Astro Bot” is the third installment in the series, coming after “Astro Bot: Rescue Mission” and “Astro’s Playroom.” This game finds Astro embarking on another adventure through 3D platforming, this time rescuing more than 300 Bots (approximately 150 from well-known franchises), mastering new skills, and traversing over 50 planets. Despite being larger in scope than “Playroom,” director Nicolas Doucet estimates the playtime to be roughly 12 to 15 hours.

Absolutely, there’s more excitement to come after the game launch! Expect fun-filled levels like playful stages and speed runs, which we plan to add to the game by the end of this year, all at no extra cost. Keep an eye out for further updates, and don’t forget to check our feature for the latest on Astro Bot.

Astrobot codes are out. Embargo Sept 5.
