The recently announced game from PlayStation, “Astro Bot,” is confirmed to include appearances by a variety of characters from different PlayStation franchises, dressed and resembling robotic NPCs from games such as “Bloodborne” and “Horizon Forbidden West.” Interestingly, it’s been revealed that players can embody Kratos, the star of the God of War series, in the game by using Kratos’ Leviathan Axe as Astro.
In the initial game trailer, it was hinted that Astro would exhibit abilities similar to those of other PlayStation characters, and indeed, during his adventures, he will make use of some of their strengths. While Kratos is primarily associated with wielding the Blades of Chaos across the original series, the more recent God of War games – specifically, God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok – have seen him adopt the Leviathan Axe as his main weapon. Similarly, Astro will often rely on a particular tool in his own adventures within Astro Bot.

This suggestion, however, hints at the possibility of other PlayStation characters having themed stages where they might grant Astro their powers.
