As an old-school gamer with decades of Call of Duty battles under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the early access to the Black Ops 6 beta! The return of classic killstreaks like the RC-XD and modes such as Team Deathmatch and Domination has me nostalgic for the good ol’ days. Yet, the new features like Omnimovement and Body Shield conversations promise a fresh twist on the familiar formula.
Pre-orders and subscriptions to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass now grant early access to the multiplayer beta for Activision’s upcoming title, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This exclusive opportunity includes a variety of new features such as the return of fan-favorite killstreaks like the RC-XD and Lethals such as the Tomahawk. Additionally, players will encounter innovative gameplay mechanics like Omnimovement, assist options, and an unprecedented ability to communicate with victims shielded by Body Shields.
This Call of Duty beta seems to be the most comprehensive one so far, content-wise. Players who have early access can explore the Training Course, four primary maps, two Strike maps, and six game modes, which include timeless favorites like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. The maximum level is 20, but it will be raised after the early access period ends on September 4th.
Starting from September 6th until September 9th, a public testing phase (open beta) begins, accessible on all gaming platforms. During this period, Babylon and Stakeout are being integrated into the main gameplay, while Strike maps will rotate continuously. Additionally, Gunfight and Face Off Kill Order modes are being added to the list of available options. Simultaneously, the character level cap is increased to 30.
