Fantastic Four: First Steps Score Debuts at Infinity Saga Concert Experience

As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast with over two decades of comic book and cinematic universe immersion under my belt, I must say, the recent Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience at the Hollywood Bowl was nothing short of extraordinary! The live orchestral performance combined with 3D mapping, light-up wristbands, and fireworks made for an unforgettable experience that truly encapsulated the grandeur of the Infinity Saga.

On Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience made its premiere, offering fans much more than just a musical trip through the cinematic storyline of the Infinity Saga. Alongside this orchestral adventure, attendees were given an unexpected bonus: a sneak peek that can only be described as a post-credits teaser – the introduction of the theme song for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. As reported by The Wrap, following the concert’s conclusion, which included fireworks, composer Michael Giacchino emerged on stage and requested “four extra minutes” from conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

During those extra four minutes, fans were given a sneak peek of the theme from the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film, set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025. You can listen to it here. The unveiling of the Fantastic Four theme wasn’t the only surprise; earlier in the evening, Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, made an appearance and encouraged fans to stay until the end. He also announced that this concert experience will be embarking on a global tour next year.

Michael Giacchino Has Previously Teased the Vision for Fantastic Four

During a conversation with Nerd Reactor earlier, Giacchino hinted at the direction of the Marvel film, revealing that while the music and narrative for Pixar’s The Incredibles (a project where Giacchino also provided the music) might share some similarities, they are also distinctly unique in many ways.

According to Giacchino, both of these projects have numerous similarities and differences. He sees a place for both in the world. In fact, he intends to contribute to both. The difficult part, as he sees it, is finding ways to distinguish them. It’s important that they aren’t just repetitive; instead, they should be unique. Matt Shakman, who’s directing The Fantastic Four, is bringing something fresh, fun, and different to the table. Even on the surface, these projects seem distinct. They aren’t what you’d expect, and each offers a unique perspective. Giacchino is looking forward to working on this project, and he’s certain it will be an enjoyable experience.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
