Kaos creator reveals plan for future seasons after major cliffhanger

As a fan with an insatiable appetite for mythology-infused fantasies and a knack for spotting potential masterpieces, I must say that the upcoming Netflix series “Kaos” has me absolutely smitten! The brainchild of Charlie Covell, who has previously demonstrated his prowess in adapting graphic novels into captivating visual stories, this show promises to be nothing short of a divine spectacle.

Charlie Covell, the mastermind behind “Kaos,” has shared their plans for the upcoming seasons of the Netflix fantasy series, in response to the surprising climax that ended the first season on a cliffhanger.

Kaos is situated in a contemporary alternative reality, where the Greek mythological deities, including Zeus portrayed by Jeff Goldblum, rule as sovereigns, presiding over them all.

Instead of anticipating loyalty from humans, an ominous sign of trouble for his rule arises from a surprising violation during Olympia’s day, accompanied by a recent appearance of a new wrinkle on his forehead – both serving as potential warnings.

I thoroughly appreciate this captivating series that originates from the creative genius of Charlie Covell. Previously, he masterfully crafted the Channel 4 adaptation of the graphic novel “The End of the F***ing World.”

Covell shared: “I’ve been thinking about a total of three seasons. That’s where my thoughts are currently… I’d be thrilled to expand on that further.”

Instead of diving straight into writing new scripts before getting a green light, Covell chooses to wait until he hears from Netflix executives first.

To put it simply, ideas are fermenting in their minds, and they have a distinct image of where Chaos might eventually take them.

Covell added: “There’s lots of things forming. I’ve got an idea of what the plot is.

“But no, there’s no script, just lots of fevered documents and stuff that only I would probably understand at this point. But the main story is clear in my head.”

The cast of Kaos includes some well-known talents, such as Goldblum, joined by Janet McTeer from Ozark, Nabhaan Rizwan from Juice, Killian Scott from Secret Invasion, David Thewlis from The Sandman, Billie Piper from I Hate Suzie, and Rakie Ayola from The Pact.
