Attendees at D23 got a sneak peek at characters such as Polaris and the New Mutants, and it’s worth noting that Forge is on a quest to enlist additional X-Men to locate their time-traveling comrades. Could this group of mutants form a new X-Men team, or will there be other teams for fans to anticipate in the future?
During a Q&A session, Marvel’s Head of Animation, Brad Winderbaum, mentioned that there are several teams in Marvel with the letter ‘X’, followed by a hyphen. To clarify, he stated that apart from the one we already know, there are two more X-teams appearing in Season 2.
As a diehard Marvel enthusiast, I’m excited to share some insights about upcoming appearances! If you recall, teams with “X” in their names, like X-Factor and X-Force, are part of the Marvel universe. Given that Polaris was previously a member of X-Factor alongside Havok (Cyclops’ brother), it seems plausible they could make an appearance in X-Men ’97 Season 2.
