Among Us Reveals Free Ace Attorney Collaboration

Among Us Reveals Free Ace Attorney Collaboration

As a gamer who has been around since the dawn of pixelated graphics and 8-bit melodies, I must say this latest collaboration between Among Us and Ace Attorney is a delightful surprise that harkens back to my younger days spent immersed in both worlds. The free Miles Edgeworth skin adds an extra layer of nostalgia for the Ace Attorney series, which has always been a favorite due to its intricate storylines and engaging gameplay.

On September 9th, an exciting partnership has unveiled a free skin for the game “Among Us”. This new cosmetic item is modeled after Miles Edgeworth from Capcom’s Ace Attorney series, complete with his iconic red suit and signature hairstyle. Fans of the Ace Attorney games will appreciate this free gift, though it appears that other characters like Phoenix Wright or Apollo Justice won’t be joining in at this time.

The release of this free DLC is planned to align with the debut of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection on September 6th, across Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Unlike previous Ace Attorney games where Miles Edgeworth served as a sort of adversary for Phoenix Wright, the two Ace Attorney Investigations games allow players to step into the shoes of the prosecutor himself. Sadly, only the first Ace Attorney Investigations game was released in North America, and Capcom never provided an official translation for the second one. This will change with the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, making it a must-have for dedicated series enthusiasts!

In a somewhat unexpected combination, Ace Attorney and Among Us share surprising similarities. While it may seem peculiar to see figures like Master Chief or Ghostface in the same sentence, the idea of blending Ace Attorney into Among Us feels strangely appropriate. This is because the Ace Attorney series revolves around collecting evidence, leveling accusations, and following where the clues take you. Coincidentally, this closely mirrors the essence of Among Us, although the methods are notably distinct! There appears to be a growing overlap between the fanbases, with many expressing appreciation for this skin on various platforms such as X/Twitter.

As a die-hard fan, I must admit that Capcom’s heavyweights like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter have always held a special place, but Ace Attorney has been steadily growing its dedicated fanbase for the past two decades. This collaboration might just lure in some newbies to give it a spin, but even if it simply keeps us existing fans entertained, that’s more than enough for me!
