This summer has kept Ricochet quite occupied. After the finale of WrestleMania 40, he started off the new season by claiming the first-ever WWE Speed Championship, solidifying his position as the main attraction for WWE’s exclusive in-ring content on social media. However, exactly 42 days later, Andrade took away that title from him. Meanwhile, Will Ospreay of AEW shared his thoughts with ComicBook, encouraging Ricochet to take risks and trust himself more as he moves forward in his career. A week after this conversation, rumors arose that Ricochet had decided to part ways with WWE. By the end of the following month, Ricochet was no longer featured on any WWE programming.
Ricochet Spoke With Triple H After WWE Write-Off
The One and Only’s future was not entirely written when he was written off of WWE television.
In conversation with The Masked Man Show, Ricochet disclosed that he had a chat with WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, following the Monday Night Raw segment where Bron Breakker assaulted him backstage and transported him away in an ambulance.
Later on, Ricochet and Triple H had a brief conversation, and Triple H expressed, “Anytime, whatever,” as Ricochet hadn’t renewed his contract yet, and it was approaching his final days at that particular place.
At the point when Will Ospreay from AEW and numerous online hypotheses were saying otherwise, Ricochet had not yet decided on his future plans during the time of his dismissal by WWE. However, it’s worth noting that Ricochet believes WWE may have anticipated he was planning to leave.

However, a confrontation with Ospreay following the match was interrupted when Pac, Ricochet’s upcoming opponent, attacked him before he could speak. It is anticipated that Ricochet and Ospreay will reignite their rivalry within AEW in due course.
