As a longtime Dragon Ball fan who has followed Goku’s adventures since the days of the original series, I am beyond excited for the premiere of Dragon Ball Daima! The idea of our beloved heroes shrinking down to miniature size and embarking on a new adventure is pure gold. And with an extended first episode that promises more action than subsequent installments, it’s clear that Akira Toriyama has saved his best for last.
On October 11th, the final work from Dragon Ball franchise creator Akira Toriyama, titled Dragon Ball Daima, is set to debut. This anime series takes place between the demise of Kid Buu and the start of Dragon Ball Super, where Goku and his Z-Fighter comrades transform into miniature versions. To make a splash in the anime world, Daima has revealed that its inaugural episode will be an extended special with more content than subsequent episodes. With Son Goku joining forces with the Supreme Kai and some fresh allies, this television show could very well be the most anticipated premiere of the fall anime season
In a recent development, the new Dragon Ball Daima trailer has introduced some intriguing aspects for the upcoming anime series. The “Dark Demon Dimension,” a crucial part of the spin-off series Super Dragon Ball Heroes, is set to make its debut in the main continuity. This dimension is known as the home of the Majin Buu Saga villain, Dabura, and has not been seen in the primary storyline until now. The trailer’s depiction of this demonic world has left Dragon Ball fans questioning whether Daima might be a blend of elements from both Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Heroes
