The professional wrestling journey for Becky Lynch, famously known as Big Time Becks, remains uncertain due to recent twists and turns in her career. Previously, she was defeated by Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 40, but reclaimed the Women’s World Championship a few weeks later when an unexpected shoulder injury forced Ripley to vacate the title. However, Lynch lost the championship during her initial premium live event defense against Liv Morgan at WWE King and Queen of the Ring in May. In her rematch on WWE Monday Night Raw, she was defeated once more, and since then, she has not made an appearance on WWE TV. It is reported that her contract expired on June 1st
Becky Lynch is “Not Revealing Much” Regarding WWE Future
Don’t expect to hear much about Becky Lynch’s wrestling future before a public decision is made.
During a conversation with ComicBook prior to the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament, Lyra Valkyria mentioned that Lynch appears to be holding onto her plans for future moves within professional wrestling, choosing not to disclose them at this time
Valkyria remarked, “Becky seems distant; she isn’t sharing much with us. It’s hard to predict her next move because she’s playing things close to her chest.”
Valkyria and Lynch share a rich history in WWE NXT, working together once in September 2023 before engaging in a rivalry over the NXT Women’s Championship. In October 2023, Valkyria bested her Irish compatriot to claim the NXT Women’s Title, and held it for six consecutive months
After this year’s WWE Draft, the two women met up again, as Valkyria joined Monday Night Raw – the same team that Lynch had been champion for. Before her Queen of the Ring semifinal match against Iyo Sky, Lynch encouraged Valkyria and they shared a backstage moment together, which was Lynch’s last appearance on WWE
There’s no information available on when Becky Lynch might come back to wrestling, or if her return will take place in WWE at all. AEW star Chris Jericho has hinted that there are rumors about Lynch joining All Elite Wrestling, but as of now, these rumors lack any concrete evidence
